Andrej Pejic: The Man Modelling Womenswear
I just saw this article on the BBC and it had Off Topic Forum written all over it.
"A svelte blonde standing over 6ft with cascading platinum hair, dewy skin, lush lips and chiselled cheekbones, Andrej Pejic is not untypical of the models strutting the catwalk for womenswear labels, except in one respect. Pejic is a man."
Androgyny at its finest.
Discuss.

Honestly, high-fashion has tried for years to establish a standard of beauty based around rail-thin, androgynous girls, who's bodies are barely recognizable as being female. So it's not really surprising that this is the next step. He's a man who looks like a manly woman; obviously they could have made him look more womanly, but made a deliberate choice not to, so as to maximize the shock value.
But I don't really get the negative reaction either. It's not like this is in FHM; unless you make a habit of fapping to fashion television, why is this more vomit-inducing than a typical photo of an ugly person?

Yeah, I don't really see why people are in a huff about it.
Though in Mikey's case it isn't the least bit shocking.
Seriously, it's a dude who looks like a chick modeling clothes for women.
How does this affect Komskie's or Mikey's lives enough to be vomiting or disgusted?
I don't watch fashion shows, I'm not interested in high fashion, and I don't care about this type of stuff in general, so I couldn't care less if some dude is modeling women's fashion.

I guess I shouldn't be too surprised by a stunt like this coming from the fashion industry, ran by gays and lesbians who wouldn't know a feminine/attractive woman if one crawled up their....well you get the idea.
