Wild Announce Major Acquisition

The Minnesota Wild are pleased to announce that free agent prospect Martin St. Pierre has agreed to terms with the organization.

GM Grant Farhall commented on the what he called a major signing.

"Martin is a quality prospect. He's a little under-sized but in the CPHL we think he can be effective. We are very pleased he chose Minnesota to start his pro career".

In other minor news the Wild also announced that they have acquired Milan Hejduk.

Some chump. My initial plan was use him to get Bob Reichel back. Of course I'd have to add something to the offer to make that a possibility.
