Still some good players left, Raonic will be in good company if he can play into the semi's.

Raonic takes the first set 6-4.

He's just dominating on his serve. The other guy hasn't had a sniff.
When the other guys serves, he's life and death to hold.

They just announced that Roanic is in the final!!!!!

Gael Monfils won his QF tonight but injured his wrist and has to withdraw.

The other semifinal will be Del Potro against Verdasco.

Tomorrow afternoon Roanic has agreed to play Karlovic in an exhibition match at 1pm to entertain the fans and after the match they will have a serving contest to see who has the hardest serve!

Edit: Here's the story

Some things just happen for a reason. Good luck to Raonic in his first ever final! Both are top players. It should be a good challenge!

Just looking at the Rankings, he is currently 84th.
If he wins tomorrow he'll go up to around 60, if he loses then around 70.
It's all up and up for the guy right now since he hardly has any points to defend from last year.

Raonic lost the exhibition 7-6, 7-6 but won the hardest serving contest with a serve of 144mph!

The final tomorrow will be live on RDS, Sportsnet Ontario, East and Pacific at 8:00pm EST. Sportsnet West can't get away from the Oilers

Verdasco beats Del Potro in straight sets so

Milos Raonic (CAN) vs [1] Fernando Verdasco (ESP) Sunday at 5pm PT at the Shark Tank.

-----

Looking ahead on Wednesday, Raonic has drawn Verdasco in the 1st round in Memphis!

Even first set so far, with no breaks. It looks like a tie-breaker may be needed.

WOW!! Verdasco might be crushed mentally. Up 6-2 and lose 6 points in a row.

woo!!

Verdasco was so pissed!

"How could I be losing to this kid!"

From what I could see, Raonic really mixed up his serve alot more.
Against Ferrer in Melbourne, he was serving too many bombs and was predictable.
Tonight he took a bit off, threw in some soft ones and really had Verdasco off balanced.

His first ATP Tour victory comes in a hockey arena, how fitting!

Raonic now goes to 59 in the world!

It might be a Sharks jersey , but what a nice touch I love all of the Canadiana mentions.
