Yes, because when I think of a list of things grown-ups do, "Sneak booze into the Saddledome" is just below "Buy an house and have kids".

Never been an issue. I'm a U of C student. Or at least was until just recently.

Had a UPass for the last 5 years. So I've paid into the transit system a whole lot more than most folk.

I did recently give advice to some guy complaining about the change machines and told him that if your options are breaking a $20 and not paying you might as well just not pay.

Wait. You can get drunk off of a flask?
How big is that thing?

Is being smug and condescending adult too?

Jesus people I'm not killing puppies. I said I bring a flask to flames games from time to time.

Are you the guys that hang out in the smoking area and report people who smoke pot during the intermissions?

For this past game I had a few beers before I went to the game. Drank my flask and then bought 2 beers at the dome.

I only bring the flask when I want hard liquor. The dome only sells hard liquor in about 4 different places and the line-ups are insane and the cups are tiny. Beer is available everywhere and isn't a big deal.

Are there games/ times when the booze isn't overpriced at the Dome, Mr. STH?

There are plenty of events that I go to where liquor is priced regularly. Not every event I've ever attended is at the dome.

Good luck buying a house if you're constantly paying for booze at the Saddledome.

Piling on Oiler fans isn't just ok, it is encouraged.

I think you'd probably have better luck buying a house if you avoid the Saddledome altogether.

If pointing out the irony of someone using sneaking booze into the Saddledone as an example of an age appropriate activity for adults is condescending then yes, I suppose it is part of being one.

I'm not saying sneaking booze into the Saddledome is a horrible thing, I just think it's laughable to use it as an example of how grown up you are.

He probably wants to get out of the parking ticket so that he can buy booze at the Saddledome.

Ok, Ken, last point and then I'm done.

I never said it made me adult. I said paying for booze doesn't make you more adult. The "real smart and adult like" was sarcasm. I was saying that he must feel like such an important adult because he pays full price for all his booze. I don't think the price you pay for booze is a good indicator of your adultness.

Oh, I didn't realize we were allowed to do that.

I can think of more than 4 places and if you looked around a bit, you'd know where you can go to get a mixed beverage with proper amount of hard stuff.

No need to flip out on everyone in this thread.

I think you might have missed a post.

You can always stop posting. But it's more fun if you make an announcement that you're going to stop first.
