Check out one of the pioneers of electronic Gary Numan. Without him there wouldn't be a lot of the good stuff you hear today.

Justice is great. Deadmau5's newest album 4x4=12 is excellent. I'm not a big fan of dubstep but there is only a couple songs with it. I highly recommend BT's newest album These Hopeful Machines.

My number one suggestion for you is Hybrid. Genre defining artists. Their newest album is Disappear Here. My favorite song from them is Just For Today.

I'm not sure if you think electro-swing is awesome...but I love Parov Stelar

What I love about electronic music is there's so much of it out there now. Basically anyone can create a song now with a lap top, electronic mixer and a few other plug ins.........my buddy does it all the time and it's amazing how good his music is and how quickly he comes up with it.

As another poster has suggested, Pete Tong's Essential Mixes on BBC Radio 1 are probably worth listening to. My favourites from last year were the sets by Swedish House Mafia and Pendulum. Another good source to start you off would be the Ministry of Sound, they release so many mixes that you are bound to find something you'll like.
