Jesus CTV is a joke.
They cut away mid sentence during the trophy presentation.
I can't believe a company that is that pathetic owns a tv station as awesome as TSN.

It is whining when it happened 5+ years ago and the better team won.
Sure it sucks that the ref blew a couple calls but it is long over at this point.

If you were watching the Fox channel, at 8pm, the CTV simulcast was done.

Yes what a crazy statement to point out that a guy who has won 2 Super Bowls and very nearly won his 3rd tonight was a Championship QB.

So silly how they win a Chevy Camaro convertible. He makes enough to own Ferrari's and Lambo's, hell a Corvette if you want to stay American. Why the hell would he drive a red convertible Camaro.

Damn, I had it on CTV for some reason. Maybe because they had Flashpoint scheduled for 8pm legally they had to stop simsubbing.

Who said anything about knowing better than him?
I said that he blew calls. Good job reading what is actually said in a post.

Is it just me, or could the NFL stand to learn something from the NHL about championship presentations?

no you were blowing it off like it was no biggy. like a 5 yard penalty was missed. the missed calls were huge, and likely gave the steelers the game. it matters not whos better on paper, it only matters who earns it on the field... and the refs tilted it in favour of pittsburgh with publicly admitted mistakes.

Congrats to the Packers and all their fans! Very well deserved considering all the injuries the team went through during the season and the game to win it. Remarkable.
Rodgers was deserving of MVP and the "Title belt" lol.
Superbowl 46 is in Indianapolis! Hopefully the home team is in the game!
Onto the offseason....

They should get rid of that trophy and really make a title belt.

i came here to say something similar, the Lombardi presentations are always so pitiful. the Superbowl is way more about the event than it is about a trophy, unlike the NHL where the only thing that matters is the Stanley Cup. seeing the captain of a team lift the cup over his head and go nuts always gives me chills, the Lombardi trophy seems like a throwaway in comparison

Well I think Aaron Rogers is officially in the conversation for who the best QB in the NFL is. It's no longer a two man coin flip between Brady or Manning. Sure those two are more accomplished, but thats past stuff. Based on today going forward, Aaron Rogers is the guy I'd want on my team. Also gotta give the Packers D props for forcing the three turn overs, and really gutting it out to the end.
Also a big fan of Mike Tomlin, he's making no excuses, and I have no doubt he'll have the Steelers back in the Superbowl in the near future.

We'll see. The same things were said about Brees this time last year.

Nothing wrong with Brees, either, I don't think he has the physical skills that the other three have, but that guy is a real leader and a guy any NFL team would love to have as their QB.
Brady won regular season MVP and rightfully so, but Rogers is the guy who delivered in the games that really mattered this year.

The first half I thought was not good especially when you are cheering for the Steelers. The 2nd half was more exciting. The Steelers lost because they made a lot of mistakes. 3 turnovers that turned to be 21 points for the Packers and the boneheaded penalties especially the roughing call late in the game cost them the game. That boneheaded penalty by #57 was a selfish penalty. You were behind by 6 points and the returner just got the team a better field possession and he comes hitting some guy for no reason. Big Ben wouldn't have to rush his play as much as he can. Oh well it's over now. The Green Bay Packers deserved every credit for their win. They capitalized on all 3 Steelers' turnovers right away. Rodgers wull finally shut those people who keeps questioning if he will ever erase Favre's success in Green Bay. Hats off to Rodgers for winning the Super Bowl and the MVP.
