Any Australians?
Complete long shot I know, but maybe some expats... Just curious if any other forum users are from Australia, i'm up in Queensland and am a massive flames fan, never miss a game (they're on at about 10 in the morning here), otherwise I suppose this is just me saying hello

There's a couple of posters here who went over and became cultured.
I can't recall their names, but they absolutely LOVE the place, so much so, that they denigrate their hometown, every chance they get.

My sister-in-law is Australian.
Come to think of it, my brother just took out citizenship there.

Just moved here friday...looking for an economical way to watch the Flames since you pay for internet by the GB. Any pubs?

If only something was free in the air or something... Perhaps you could check out some satellite towns in your area? A point in the right direction may help. Talk to some locals who can give you a good signal.

Fox Sports show NHL, but the coverage is almost always games between two American teams. When I was in Melbourne, I didn't notice any pubs showing the hockey.
I didn't even bother looking in Alice Springs.

TPG has unlimited ADSL2 for $30 a month, good luck trying to find a pub showing anything other than footy/rugby/cricket...

That, plus Gamecenter is how I get by. Pretty sweet setup, and there's no chance of anyone spoiling the score for me at work haha

I'm in Melbourne, ex-pat! Shoot me a PM if anyone wants to take in a game here in Melbs
There's a big group of us hockey fans here who get together and watch games periodically.
