I watched Crawley today after I got home from work. It was a treat to see them play and get the upset win. That and yesterday I started my new Football Manager campaign and decided to take a Blue Square team on, which ended up being Crawley out of coincidence.
Former Albion GK and club legend Michel Kuipers gave away a really soft penalty then proceeded to save it. Fantastic.
Town deserved that win. They outplayed and outworked Derby from the outset. Next up is Torquay. They could easily find themselves in the 5th rd of the FA Cup. Now that would be news.
Awesome news for the Cherries, still riding high in the league!
For someone who was a legend at the club anyway, this virtually seals his immortality (even if he ends up going in the summer anyway). Great display of loyalty - you don't see it that often these days.
Non-league Crawley Town beat Derby County 2-1 today to reach the 4th round.
AND they get League 2 Torquay next which is very winnable!
Guarantees a small team will be in the 5th round!
Edit: Also, I heard on a news report that Crawley Town are not lovable underdogs. They are hated in the Conference for spending money. They are the Manchester City of the amateurs because they have spent more on transfers this year than all of League 2 combined. With that information, they should smoke Torquay and who knows how far they can go.

Up the Cherries!
Ok, OK, so I'll eat my words. Not such a great display of loyalty after all...
Stevenage player punched in FA Cup game over girlfriend
"A man ran on to a football pitch after an FA Cup game and punched a player who had previously gone out with his girlfriend because he had "not treated her correctly", a court has heard."
Epic for Crawley! Love seeing the little guys draw the top clubs, and Crawley is beyond little. I am actually hoping for a draw in this one and United to roll to victory in the replay.
Crawley's manager claims they will start 4-3-3. We'll see how long that lasts and how it goes haha. I can admire the courage, but if they do that they are going to get absolutely smashed.

I think that Crawley might keep it close. Their 'keeper is a terrific shot stopper and a real class act. A few years back Havant and Waterlooville went to Anfield and played an aggressive attacking style and were up 1-0 and 2-1 eventually losing 4-2.
I heard 2 funny things about this earlier today. Someone said that Crawley should review the Man U 'official rules and handbook' before their 5th round match, because for some strange reason the rules are different there. And also that the majority of United fans were disappointed that it is a home tie against Crawley as if it were an away match there would be less travel involved.
However...Gerrard is one of the biggest floppers in England who rivals anybody in the league for that "skill". He is also one of the biggest hypocrites in the league for his stance on what he does so well and so often.
