These companies do behave differently, so to say that Rogers will do it because Verizon is doing is a little premature. Truthfully I expect there to be a charge, but as silentsim mentions perhaps they'll just treat it like an android and leave it alone.
I've used MyWi before and while it's a fantastic product I can't bring myself to jailbreak my device again. I'd probably rather pay a small monthly fee to cut out the jailbreaking process. $20/month? Probably not that much. Maybe $10.

Don't know if this has been touched on in this thread, but where does everyone shop for their iphone4 accessories? Is there a particular place or online store that's cheaper than the rest, that you would buy from?

I'm not sure about sales, but London Drugs is a very under-rated apple dealer. Next to the apple store they have a curiously large selection of accessories.

So I downloaded the remote app, and its stuck in waiting. I shut it off and on, did a hard reset, and updated through iTunes connecting to computer, but it still says waiting. What gives, and how do I get rid of it?

It stopped working for me too, it worked initially, but now..nothing.

The RogersRadio app was streaming Fan960 for me just fine on my Telus iPhone
However just tried it now and it doesn't seem to be working at the moment.

Ok so we got the iphone jailbroken and running now what should I do. I have sort of bee playing with winterboard getting stuff from cydia but all I can find is mostly junk. Really the only thing I would like it to be different from an actual iphone is if I could see and respond to my push notifications in the lock screen without having to buy lockinfo I believe the program is. Also is there a way to make your emails search more frequent then 15 mins to push to my phone other then manualy refreshing all the time?
All in all really impressed so far with iphone I am enjoying more then my blackberry thus far.

They have now allowed the app to be for everyone and no longer just rogers customers.

Just get tunein radio. Its 99 cents, and you get pretty much any radio station on the globe for .99 cents plus the ability to record them for up to 8 hours on a timer system. Seriously the best dollar app ever.

Havent listened to calgary radio since getting this app. Hooked up in the car and choices are endless. I also love how you can search any song and it will show you all the stations playing that song.

Anybody using a jailbroken old iphon 2g or 3g get the element theme off of cydia. It puts a list of everything you would want on your lock screen it is very handy

Lol, Apple's requiring eBook sellers to have in-app purchases for books available out-app, so Apple can get their 30% cut on in app purchases.

So...buy your books on Amazon anyway, and sync up the Kindle app? Shouldn't that still work? I hope it does at least. I'm not paying more to make up for Apple wanting more of the profits. Many books on Amazon are already expensive enough thanks to the Agency model.
