Quebec should hold a referendum and vote to seperate.
I'm sick of their whole "take, take, and more take" attitude.
Au revior!!!

That is all that party is reduced to, filthy begging. Since they know they will never win the separation vote, they turned to extortionists.
My folks are from MTL. To hear how great that city was before the separatists came to power makes me a little sad. A world class city on par with a Paris or London in the 60's and early 70's. Kinda sad.

This is the reason so many Canadians are sick and tired of Quebec's antics... Every Albertan already pays $3000+ in equalization payments. Why should we be funding better services to them when we can't afford the same in our provinces? Load of crap.

Quebec isn't pulling this crap, greedy politicians are. Let's not make unfair sweeping generalizations.

Harper would probably win every seat outside of Quebec if he told the Bloc to kiss his a%% in front of the Parliament building.

The problem is that every one of these parties and their leaders are so damn power-hungry that they're willing to deal with the Bloc. It'd be nice if they all issued a joint statement telling Quebec to quit voting Bloc or else they lose a nice chunk of equalization payments.

Perhaps if the PQ and BQ hadn't destabilised their own economy and frightened off foreign investment for more than three decades, there wouldn't be a need to extort money from the ROC.

Yep, because Bloc members get elected in every other province.

Yep and I'm sure as an Albertan you voted for the PC's yet oddly enough I'm sure you haven't agreed with everything with Stelmach did or said right?

I for one love the fact that we have a big section of our country who speaks a different language, and adopts a different culture. What needs to go is the us against them attitude. I believe that the Bloc Quebecois is a giant pile of crap. Whatever your platform be as a national political party, it shouldn't be legally allowed to favour one part of the country over the other...that's what the provincial legislatures are for.

Except the Bloc only have one goal. Separation, everything else is secondary.
If you vote Bloc, you're voting for the ideology.
