Just think, if she settles for 0.001% of what she's asking for, it's still $9 million.
She's obviously a master negotiator.

If you actually read the report, which you did not, you would see that the damages and other claims were part of a form that people file when requesting a domestic violence protection orders (restraining order). Not a legal document (complaint) prepared by a lawyer. Here, this lady complained that Diddy "went through Kim Porter and Rodney King and knocked down the WTC and then they all came and knocked me and my children down." Note that it was hand written and on the next page she alleges $900,000,000,000 in damages for child support.
So it really doesn't "help resolve the negative stereotype of lawyers" at all, but if you bothered to look, you'd notice that the request for a restraining order was denied and I'm sure if you pay attention to this case long enough rather than fly by posts like the one above, you'd see that the entire thing will be summarily dismissed. The funny thing is, the request was likely denied by someone legally educated and the lawsuit will be dismissed by a lawyer.

The link to the document says 'the requested page could not be found' so I couldn't read it.
I have no doubt that this will be dismissed but thought that to sue someone you need legal advice and representation. I could be wrong as I've never sued anyone and not familar with the US legal system. If so, I apologize to all lawyers as this does nothing to worsen your negative sterotype.

You absolutely do not need legal representation to sue someone, you're probably going to lose if it's anything complicated and you're not trained, but you have the right to file suit on your own behalf. A large percentage of domestic relations cases are have at least one party representing themselves.

I'm sure that there are other ways to get this dirt bag into court. If only his closet skeletons could talk.
