Default Where to find Japanese style peanuts in Calgary?

My parents just got back from Mexico and loved the Japanese style peanuts.

Are these available in Calgary?

I was thinking T&T might have them. Anyone know for sure? Or of any other place that might have them?

Here is a pic of the kind they brought back, although any variety would be fine.

Thanks in advance.

My gf brought me back some Japanese snack from Vancouver that was peanuts coated in crunchy deliciousness. I have no idea what the outer shell is, but it tasted awesome.

Were they chip nuts? Those are peanuts covered in pringle-style hardened potato paste.

Are they actually nuts? Or are they covered in batter and fried?

There's a Chinese snack food you can get @ T&T like this I think.

They are peanuts with a crunchy coating. They come in a multitude of flavors.

I'll check on T&T, I'm fairly certain they'll have some.

It isn't that Mexico is the only place to buy them, I just think that is where most NA people find out about them.

Apparently they were popularized in Mexico by a Japanese immigrant.

I have lived in Japan for quite a long while and have never seen those. Which means that Korean (Arirang) and other Asian grocery stores will likely not carry them.

Sorry if I can't be of any help.
