There are no frenchmen left in the men's draw.

What odds would you have gotten that there is 1 Canadian and 0 Frenchmen in the round of 16.

Speaking of...where is Tsonga? He must be injured. I forgot about him until tonight while watching Raonic. He reminded me a lot Tsonga a couple of years back, when he came out of no where and unfortunately fell to Djokovic in an epic five set final.

I'm certainly not saying Raonic will end up in the final, but I love stories like this: where a challenger starts to make his mark on the tour. Tonight, the mostly Aussie crowd was chanting "Go Canada!" and "You can do it Canada!". They don't even know his name, but they want him to win. These are the reasons I just love tennis.

Tsonga just ran out of gas. He was up 2 sets to 1 against another unpronouncable name and then just 'hit the wall' 6-1, 6-1 in the final two sets.

Anyone still up? Anyone

Isner and Cilic going to a 5th set.

I fear the worst. Last time Isner went to a 5th set....it went 3 days.

Marin Cilic moves on. He'll face Roddick for a place in the semifinal.

Great interview. I just had a chance to listen to it at work. It's nice to see him get praise from the commentators and I laughed at them assuming every Canadian is born with skates on .

He says he models his game to that of Pete Sampras. You can certainly tell from his serve.

Raonic has an interesting background. He was born in Montenegro, trains in Spain and is a Canadian. He seems like a good kid. It's hard not to cheer for him.

Just tuned into a womens match that's in the 3rd set tied at 9-9 and they've been playing for more than 3.5 hours and counting.

Wow!

Kuznesova-Schiavone 10-10 and it's really high quality.

One wouldn't think the match would be this long with a 6-1 set sandwiched in there but there have been so many long rallies!

11-11!

over 4 hours now. Schiavone has served for the match twice now and failed. Before that she saved 6 match points.

And there's a reward for the winner of this battle of attrition. A date in the QF against #1 Wozniacki!

He plays after the Sharapova match. Sharapova has just dropped the first set on the main court.

-----

Both players hold serve again 14-14.

Nice to see Roddick whine like a bitch when he is losing again. Guy can't lose quietly.

Lost to Wavrinka in the 3rd round, who then went on to crush Roddick last night.

--------------

Tonight Raonic and #7 Ferrer are the 3rd match on Hisense Arena after 2 women's matches. So probably around 8pm (mountain time) on TSN.
