The Sharks are finally close to a deal for Rich Peverley, but in the name of fairness and not having anyone complain that they "would have offered more", I am giving all GM's notice:

He's on a cheap contract (2.1mil for this year and next).

What type of assets are you getting in your other deal? I think it will be easier for GMs to come up with something you want if we know what you're looking for ie. lower rated younger F plus pick/prospect or same rated F or D in a lateral move.

I kind of wanted to avoid that because I don't want to discourage any offers, but I guess I'm looking for a lower rated CPHL F, plus picks/prospects or another lower rated roster player. Would prefer a younger guy, but am open to same age or a bit older as long as the picks/prospects makes up for it.

That being said, if a more lateral move makes the most sense for me, I will do that as well.

Totally agree. In a sealed bid type scenario its really hard to guess the type of return you're looking for. I could put together 3 totally different packages with very similar overall value and you may hate 2 of them...just a suggestion so that you get deals that make sense for you and we don't waste time building deals that you don't like at all.

Why don;t you send all 3 ideas and give him the option of picking one.

I'm pretty lazy haha. nah I'd probably do that but just saying if any direction can be given it makes it an easier process for all.
