Franchise player traded?

Prior to the big game against the powerhouse Anaheim Quacks in which the Flyers will be looking to extend their 1 game winning streak rumors are swirling around that a player that many thought had a long future in Philadelphia and would be the face of the franchise moving forward has been dealt.

Have the Capitals finally pushed the Flyers into dealing Krejci?

Have the two GM's not set to play tomorrow night come together on a deal?

Details are not vague at this team and here they are!

David Krejci

Ironically in the deal with few assets being moved, the cap was dead even and thus no team got free money. Therefore Protto you'll be angry to know that no assets to even up cap difference were moved.

The capitals desperately needed a center and when Krejci was made available we had to take it.

Stempniak is an ok 2nd liner, and Meszaros is a decent 2nd pairing guy, but we feel that Krejci can develop into #1 center. Lepisto is a young dman that might still develop while Cooke was there to even up salaries.
