I'm not one to skin a device, but... (MacBook/iPhone/iPad Skins)

What do you guys think of these? Like the title says, I don't usually get into the whole skinning thing, but these actually look pretty sharp to me.

I'm thinking about getting either this one (Natural Cedar):


Or this one (Chocolate Cherry):

Edit: I'm looking at getting it for my white MacBook. It's white. White is bland. I don't particularly care about white being bland, but I saw these online and they look pretty cool. Besides, cherrywood is manly. So is cedar. White plastic is not.

The Macbook looks ridiculously stupid, but the skin on the iPhone is sex. Where do I buy it? I want Mahogany.

with skins it depends on how much it actually looks like the material it's trying to emulate and not just an el-cheapo giant plastic sticker giving you the fake woodgrain station wagon or grandmother's basement effect. So it depends on how it looks in person.

I've seen these in person (well, can't attest to the brand) but I've always found they look super tacky (well, crap). Just my opinion though. I am bias as I have always hated skins.

I'm not a fan of the wood grain, either, but there have to be some nice skins out there.

I just have a bumper on my iPhone and I think the:

Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in China
Model A1332 blah blah blah
FC Blah blah blah

looks like crap. I'd rather cover it with something nicer.

I sort of agree, how ever I do like some of the "art skins", like graffiti artwork.

Edit: or not, depending on how opinion swings based on this thread.

I'm not putting anything like that on mine, but I did think they looked pretty decent.
