Can someone post the link in the main forum? I know this shouldn't belong in the "Off Topic Forum" but I didn't have "permission" to post it in the main forum. I am sorry if people are getting mad I put it in the wrong forum.

Welcome to CP, even if you put it in the right spot (which I understand you can't) people would still get mad. We treat the internet like it is serious business.
And i'd like to post this for you on the main page - but I dont want to start another Trade Iginla thread

It doesn't really go into much detail on his workout.
Agreed. It's interesting to hear about things like how he works out after a game, but really this only highlighted a few exercises which you could probably guess most hockey players do.

Oh right, I know nothing and have never trained with professional athletes and assuming you know everything about someone on the internet is always the right thing to do.
Crosby's training methods are far more advanced than anything I saw in this article and are a major factor in why he is so good, I have seen his training with my own eyes and do not base this on hearsay. I can't wait for you to twist this into an argument though.

You may want to reread the bolded sentence more carefully. Or read up on what types of resistance training work slow twitch / type I muscle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slow_twitch_muscle). (Or what high intensity [what Iginla does] training works).

I'd really appreciate it if you could post it on the main forum
I am dying to see what people say. It's one of my first threads, I just want to see what happens out of it

You're either taking the piss or gullible if you think Iginla trains exactly to the specifications of the article, everyday, all day, through the entire summer. Of course he skates during the summer and trains heavily in plyometrics. Generally, the heavy lifting is done at the start of summer and the speed components more concentrated at the end. Am I right, or are you going to go on another smug, whiny, rant? Poor you.

You guys realize that almost his entire workout listed in that article is focused on power and speed, right? The heavy lifting is then for strength (with some power from the clean).
There are also no plyometrics listed in that routine.
Let us hope that Iggy never has to embark on a quest with Aragorn, son of Arathorn.
