Ha! I can't believe someone was actually willing to give us 6mil for him. The guy hasn't even been on the bench for a good chunk of games this year.

Shag it I'll take the point, Gyan played like ####e up til that point but the goal is all that matters.. Wish Cattermole would've been fit..

This Liverpool team is just plain bad. I wonder what sort of odds you could get on them being relegated.

Because you're whining about the refs

not whining about the refs, if I was doing that I would talk about the shirt pull by Vidic on VdV in the box

its just the lack of respect United players show the refs, both Rooney and Rafael today

you could clearly make out Rooney calling the ref a $%^ing Wanker

makes the way Drogba treat them seem gentlemanly and full of sportsmanship

and I don't think it was United favoritism or anything, just think Mike Dean is a terrible ref and with 90% of refs they wouldn't stand for that

I dont know about you, but the financial scale of the EPL seems totally screwed. If Darren Bent is worth £18M then I'm telling my Div 3 men's team to contact Aston Villa, I ought to be worth at least twice that.

Birmingham have given up chase for Keane.
http://www.bcfc.com/page/News/NewsDe...269224,00.html

Bent hands in transfer request; Aston Villa bid 18m as Diane said.
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,195...667866,00.html
Does Ashley Young leave now?

Liverpool chasing Downing.
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,195...668007,00.html

Tottenham chasing Carrol...30m. 30! Redknapp distances himself, though.
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,195...667238,00.html

Bent: £18m. Milner: £18m. Carrick: £18m. Johnson: £18m. Rafael Van der Vaart cost how much, again?

I can't fecking believe this, I gotta believe it's something personal and I even think it's got something to do with our ####e fans.. Oh and he's worth every penny of that price and maybe he'll finally get back in as a deserved England regular not being out of sight in the northeast... Christ what great news to wake up to, now I can't even imagine how I'll feel when (if) iggy leaves Calgary..

It's way too much for a player who only does one thing, score goals, he rarely creates

and for a player who can only score goals in one system, he couldn't score in the pass and move creative style spurs used, he hasn't scored in the 4-3-3 Sunderland have used lately either. He needs a 4-4-2 direct attack

Villa are good fit in that they direct attack through the counter

but by no means is he worth double VdV, or 2m more than Wesley Sneijder was sold for less than a year and a half ago, or 75% of what Tevez was bought for at the same time

Well I guess what I mean is he is definitely worth that much to US, not necessarily Villa or whatever other crap team is bidding for him.. if that makes sense..

That is unfortunate to hear about Bent wanting to move on. Welbeck is on loan to Sunderland from United right? Does Sunderland have anyone up and coming to provide some offense alongside Gyan? I assume Welbeck is on loan for the season?
