The cape was so bad that I thought it was good. I got a good laugh out of all the cheese. Helps that Summer Glau is on it.
I'll see how many episodes I can get through before the novelty wears off.

Maybe I'm spoiled now with HBO/Showtime/AMC dramas but watching dramas on the major networks makes me uncomfortable. Law and Order SVU, Criminal Minds, CSI - they almost seem like satires when I watch them now.
Rubicon, Dexter, Boardwalk Empire, Sopranos, and Deadwood - that's television.

Thursday Night on NBC should be a great night of TV in a week.

i don't get why NBC stacks all of their comedy shows on one night. i'm worried that Community is gonna get canceled due to low ratings, but it would probably be doing a lot better if it was on a different night

Why wouldn't they? NBC has always done this. ABC used to do this on Friday nights. It's easy to find your comedy shows that way, as opposed to one here one night and one another night, etc.

CSI was well over 26+ million viewers. Desperate Housewives was in the 23+ million viewer range if I remember correctly. Without a Trace, Everybody Loves Raymond, Grey's Anatomy... all huge. Hello internet, hello video games, hello DVR's and before you know it those days are history.
At the time, Lost was the most expensive pilot episode ever shot... to think we'll ever see this again (from NBC... lol) is a gross misunderstanding of TV ratings and their current state, and the fact that they are a direct reflection of a show's fate and the direction networks go as far as pickups.
On cable? Yeah... Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire... very expensive, serial shows. Broadcast is a whole different game.

I will be recording Harry's Law on NBC tomorrow night like I do for pretty much every new series, but I do not have high hopes given it's on NBC. I'm REALLY looking forward to Chicago Code on FOX, I'm craving a good cop show and the pilot has rave reviews so far.

Just because Harry's Law is on NBC does not doom it. In fact, it helps it. I saw a rather long preview and it looks like it is going to be quite good actually.

Last night's 'Big Love' was actually pretty good. They tied up the 'nightmare' from last year fairly well. I thought it was a solid premiere to the final season. Anyone else see it?
