Default What are you reading?

Went Christmas shopping for most of Saturday before the game and ended up picking up David Rakoff's Don't Get Too Comfortable for myself. Cruised through alot of it yesterday afternoon.

What's on your nightstand? Besides Cowperson's dentures.

I'm reading a book called Seduced By Hitler.. it's kind of weird to open it on the bus because the front has this big, creepy picture of Hitler standing with a little boy that always garners me strange looks from people around me.

Two great choices. Funnily enough, I am reading a book about Frank Lloyd Wright. Even though Rand has said the Fountainhead is not based on his life, the similarities are there. Plus, his designs kick ass.

an old Tretiak autobiography I found at the used book store. Interesting perspective on Cold War era hockey.

I'm currently engrossed in The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell, which explores how an idea, trend, or social behaviour crosses a threshold and spreads like wildfire. It also touches on flu epidemics and the like.

Business Ethics: Ethical decision making and cases

and for enjoyment after almost a year of searching for the book, "Kalispell and the Upper Flathead Valley" by Henry Elwood. Nothing beats the history of an area you are emotionally invested in.

A couple of course manuals for a couple of Microsoft training courses.

And, since I like light fantasy as a means of escapism during this time of year, I'm re-reading Piers Anthony's Apprentice Adept series. Cleared the first five books in about ten days, working on the sixth, Unicorn Point.

None at the moment, but I just got through The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. I saw the new movie previews and decided to borrow the book from my girlfriend. My 4th grade teacher always used to read the Narnia books to us (the class) back in the day, so I've always kinda liked them. Even if they are *intended* for kids. (They technically are but it's still a good read. Hard to put down once you get into it.)

Also *kinda* reading Memories of a Geisha.
