Not a Star Wars dweeb, but found this funny from the NY Post for their preview of the game the weekend:

That is the great equalizer as well. Being at qwest makes up for a whole lot of the teams shortcomings. If they can pull this week out i don't think anyone could deny they have a legitimate shot at making the superbowl. With that said they'd still have to knock off either a tough falcons team or greatly underrated packers team.

Im already getting jacked up about tonights game...been a long long time since i have been this enthralled by a sports team. Its been buiding the last part of the season and continues to roll. Im too old for this stuff!!
The Pack/Falcons game is a complete coin flip IMO. Just way to many categories that are a push when it comes to the "edge" one has over another in particular areas. Im gonna go with the "its hard to beat a team twice in one year" philosophy as my reason to lean on the Packers. 27-24 for the good guys.
The Steelers at home are just to much to try and believe they can lose even though the Ravens already beat them there once this season. Dont think it will happen twice especially with a somewhat healthy Polomaulu ready to go. Steelers 20-16.
Bears and Seahawks shouldn't even be close. Without home field the Hawks are in really tough against a Bears defense that is really really good. Bears 27-13.
Patriots at home against a team that cant keep their collective mouths shut long enough to realize they are doing nothing but providing Belichik with incentive to throttle them yet again. Patriots 30-17.

Not to mention they have Ben Rothleisberger too, which they were missing when the Ravens won in Steel City.
My ticket looks the exact same as yours does, but I have a real bad feeling with the Bears... Although that usually happens when your a favoured team taking on an underdog who has already upset one team

Although not as good as Welker's speech Nick Mangold tweeted this last night:

Wes Welker is a great player. He'sreally taken advantage of watching film. If we don't keep a Spy on him, he could really open the Gate.

By the way he got several threats from Pats fans after posting this, including one guy who told him to kill himself and one who threatened his sister. I am going to take a page out of the Jets haters books and say: "Pats fans are the most classless fans in the world."

2 interesting facts tweeted by Schefter:
No. 6 seed has beaten No. 1 4 out of the five past meetings.
Tony Gonzales has never won a postseason game.

Ray Anderson warned players that if anything illegal on the field happens this weekend that any trash talk would be considered in applying punishment. Most likely this is a reaction to Bart Scott's comments about Welker on Thursday.

Nick Mangold comes back strong!! That has to be my favourite bit of trash talk this week.
This beats the hell out of boring Belichick cliche answers all week. Granted the Jets are going to get destroyed, but they were going to anyways!

Have to admit that a Ray Lewis vs. the Jets AFC Conference final would be the best for the week leading up to the game.

I guess it means hes due for a mexican all inclusive vacation early...Tony will continue that streak.
he's going to be blocking matthews as often as he can...
Raji Jenkins and the lbs vs Turner, is going to be a focal point for me...
Rodgers will find someway to keep ascending...
ryan takes a lesson... pack by 13
the ravens and stillers game is awesome. it's so physical...ben is a tough dude,
his run where suggs and redding had him lined up shows how big and talented(gamewise) he is... Ed reed's stick on mendenhall was awesome, even though steel scored successively.
I go with the ravens and Ed's brothers spirit. Ravens and the fringe by 3...
Huge fumble...

Huge play. Not only do the Ravens get the 7 points but the Steelers are now out of challenges with 3 quarters to go.

Steelers without a challenge for the rest of the game could be huge.

I thought there might be 30 points in this game total... instead 21 after 15 minutes.
I guess, as Boomer always says, "thats why they play the games"
