Michael Ferland had a goal and an assist tonight. That gives him 29 points-one more than all of last year. Twenty points over his last 14 games for him, I think.
Who knows, the guy may have a chance.

Had the opportunity to speak with John Ramage today. He's got a good head on his shoulders and really wants to win a national championship between now and when he graduates.
Bennett had two assists, since being traded to Vancouver, in 6 games, he has 4 goals and 4 assists.
Ferland had a goal and an assist.
Holland has a goal and two assists.

Max Reinhart with 2 goals and 2 assists today in Kootenay's win over Edmonton. Oddly enough wasn't even a star.
Bennett has played really well since getting traded. Also Ferland must be used in a more offensive role with the Wheaties the last month or so. Hopefully it continues especially with Schenn getting traded.

Looks like Reinhart got a hattrick yesterday, so he had three goals, two assists and was a +4. He had a point on all 5 goals.
Leach had an assist and was even.
Howse had a goal, an assist and was +2.

Geez, Max Reinhart... he had a goal and two assists tonight, getting his point total up to 46 in 44. Trading for Cody Eakin seems to have lit a fire under him recently - and that's without Eakin even playing yet.
As well...Leach had an assist, Howse a goal, Holland a goal and an assist, and Bennett two goals.

Leads the team in goals, points (tied with 1 other), and +/-
On pace for 38 goals and 76 points, up from 21/51 the year before.
But the Flames have no prospects...so says Pierre Lebrun. Not saying we have any Taylor Halls, but I wonder how many Heat games and WHL games Pierre has seen this year?

I'm gonna go with none. Let's summarize - an AHL farm team that's over .500 with a very young roster and no Alexandre Giroux-type AHL lifers, three 2010 draftees putting up around a PPG, two European prospects who looked really good at the World Juniors...Probably just average, but the way Lebrun talked, you'd think our first call-up option was Tomi Maki.
