The absolute minimum I would accept is a re-write of the identical exam.

Start cleaning your nails with a switch blade while you ask him about your grade.
That will get hella results.

Next time go all Plup Fiction on him and tell him you're not a bitch. You shouldn't get screwed here because of his or another mistake.

It's probably time to get university administration involved. At least talk to the department chair.

As an aside, this is also a pretty exploitable tactic if you walk in and realize you're going to bomb the exam. I can at least see some resistance.

If i'm not mistaken, you're not allowed to walk out for the first 30 minutes of any exam. And when you do walk out, you need to hand in your exam and it's logged.

I spoke to the "Student Advocate" group of the Student Union and they have said in similar instances in the past they have got the departments to give the student the grade prior to the final instead of re-writing an exam. However they noted the situations in which this occurred the final exam wasn't worth nearly as much (55%).
They told me to get back to them on the outcome of my professor's "investigation" for the exam. If he finds it then they will not get involved.

Jesus, I can actually believe that statisitc. I pulled that stunt myself, a few times. Thinking about it in hindsight, I should have figured I wasn't the only one to have ever thought of it, and that professor's are probably privy to this little scam.
I did this on a statics exam, and by removing the last page it erase over 30% of the marks, so I went from almost failing the exam to almost acing it. I even went a saw the professor afterwards to go over it. I feel like an idiot now about the trickery having to believe that he probably knew what I did.

So have any of you college students pushed your room mate to suicide so that you can get A's in all of your courses. I hear thats a rule.

I hear that rule is a real thing.
The U of C has a rule where if you get hit by any of the Campus maintenance or security trucks you get free tuition for the rest of your degree. True story.

Doubt it, if the exam was worth 55% than i could see the prof making him do a supplementary assignment or another test. 55% means that over half of the course information is within that one test, if his mark was based on everything else he got that semester than his grade would only reflect 1/2 of the work done in the class.
