Wow, the Seahawks upsetting the defending Super Bowl Champion. That's good for the Seahawks. One thing I don't understand and I hope someone can explain it to me. I just don't follow the NFL that much but I do watch it once in awhile and some playoff games. My question is: How in the heck the worst record amongst the playoff team hosting a playoff game? Aren't they supposed to be playing in New Orleans? Just wondering.

Saw another replay of the Lynch run. That is what you get when you teach your D to ball hawk instead of tackle. When they strip it - its a great play, when they dont they look like bad tacklers.
Last year got lucky and got strips and this year they didnt. The only supposed analyst I saw that gave the Hawks any chance to win this game was the gambler guy on the Score on the NFL.

I feel like I have been shot in the stomach and allowed to bleed out painfully with people pointing and laughing.
Shocked at the complete meltdown by the Saints D needless to say, but congrats to Seahawks club who played their asses off. I'm guessing Payton would like a do over in playing his starters against the Bucs........

If this trend of crappy teams winning continues, the Jets should pull it off.

I'm torn. I like both teams, I love the swagger and moxy of the Jets but I'm also a Peyton groupie.
Ill be happy with any outcome so long as no one suffers a career ending injury

That's exactly what we were all saying on the Saints board when it happened. Great they can strip it now, but sometimes you need to just make the TACKLE. Ya watch Greer and Porter especially on the replay. Both going high, not even trying to tackle. What a joke.
So I'm off the hook with the girlfriend now, we're both snowed in(idk what its like in Calgary, but in Deadmonton its pretty much undriveable). Now I get to sit here and sulk about the game all night. At least I've got a fridge full of beer!

Well he certainly is off to a great start. And it's laughable that flabbibulin thinks that the Jets are crappy. They have the better record and had the tougher schedule than the Colts. Jets beat Patriots and Steelers, Colts beat the Chiefs. But Jets haters are generally irrational to the point of hilarity.

Seems to me like Manning got off to a bad start last year as well Vs the Jets.
I don't understand how so many people have left the Jets for dead this week. This is still a very good football team, but a lot of people had expectations sky high for them (and that is partially their own fault) that they seem to forget that the Colts just barely got by making it the playoffs and the Jets just a few weeks ago, went into Pittsburgh and beat the Steelers.
I still like our chances with #18 though

I wasn't aware they were division champs. Wow, what a weak division.

Oh i have no doubt the Colts can win this, but it'll be a gooder.
One big difference from last year though is:
Cromartie >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Shepperd
Hell
a tree > Shepperd
Edit: Of course just as I write this Cromartie gets burned although Pool is the goat on that one...

Still replaying that run...amazing that 8 Saints touched him, 4 with more then enough ability to tackle him. Longest of his career, maybe the greatest single play in SEA history.
Hasslebeck played real well, but the ineffectiveness in the last 1/3 of the game was same old, same old. Played well no question, but needed the big play still.
Tatupu may be out for next week, on an already meh LB corps.
For Seattle, almost hope for a GB win tomorrow. Will mean SEA goes to CHI where they won earlier (although the Bears played 8x better the rest of that year after the game) and, Cutler's first playoff game, and he's always a hot and cold wildcard, so you never know how well or poorly he could play with that pressure.
Plus, if GB wins this week and next, and SEA wins next week, SEA will host another NFC Championship.

Same as Colts weird.... For some reason you only focus on the Jets doing that. Oh yeah that's right you are an irrational Jets hater. Thanks for proving my point.
