Yeah I hear that a lot, and I doesn't really surprise me that people feel that way. I can understand why his voice would put some people off.

For those of you posting actual numbers of songs, is there a way on the iPod or through iTunes to find that out? Or are you just manually tallying it up?

Yeah, they're great musicians which is why I keep trying but I just can't get into it.

On an unrelated note, I think my list destroys my hipster cred. No American Apparel hoodies for me |

No no, American Apparel isn't hipster. It's all about Neighborhoodies now.

FFFFFFfffkkkkkkkkkk!

This kills me! I enjoy lots of music which by default makes me a hipster, but I fracking hate hipsters. Yes I listen to Radiohead, no I don't own an American Apparel hoddie, no I don't own a pair of think framed glasses, no I don't have an ironic mustache, my pants aren't skin tight, I don't take useless pictures with $6000 dollar cameras, and I wear socks with my shoes.

My main goal for music these days is to one step ahead of those Fffffkkkkers.

My main goal for music has always been to listen to what I enjoy.

That's so conformist. I'm so hipster/underground/trendy that I don't.

Haha. I wasn't suggesting you were a hipster, I was just surprised by the lack of hipster music in my top whatever, considering how much I listen to. Although I'd bet my "most played" and "most songs" would be pretty different.

I must be moody.

It's funny how one's musical tastes change over time. For me, this list represents much more of a "buying phase" history than a current preference ranking.

As reliable as our old standbys are (and we all have 'em), there's always something else out there to discover. For example, I only just discovered the greatness that is Béla Fleck last month. I bought his Christmas album on a whim based on positive Amazon.com reviews - it's really good - and have continued to dig into his remarkably diverse discography since). I learned that he's been making music since the 70's. Who'd've thought?
It also appears as though I'm way overdue for a Tom Waits / Neil Young / Radiohead marathon... can't say I know (m)any of their tunes off the top of my head, but CP knows best! ....... right? ..... ..... ..... guys???............

On iPod click Music, then Artists - it will show the song count for the artist.

Interesting stuff everyone.
