Yeah, you don't need to be online for it to work. You download the dictionary to your phone so it works anywhere.

The app itself is free but the translation aspect is a $5 in-app purchase. If you just want to try it out it will reverse the letters of words or blank out words to give you an idea of how it functions. Works incredibly well.

"Remote" free app, awesome stuff. Lets you control your itunes anywhere in the house on wifi. So useful!

Skype updated their app today. Video calls work now!! I tried it on wifi and it worked well (like FaceTime) but it says you can use it with 3G also!

would video calling from iphone to iphone be considered free since you are going from skype to skype and not skype to a landline or the mobile number?

correct. on skype if you call to another skype you are only paying in data, or, if wifi, its free. even video.
