Default NYE Flames Central...

Quick question for those of you who have been to Flames Central for NYE in the past. A group of friends and I bought tickets and was told today through someone that FC sells more tickets then they can fit people in the building, and that the line ups can get pretty big to wait in. This year for New Years, the doors open at 4, the game starts at 7. I have never been here before so don't know how packed it can get and how fast it fills up. My friends are idiots and want to go there at 10:30 thinking they will have no problem getting in, and they certainly are hating on me for wanting to be there to actually watch the entire game (they are women who don't like sports in general..and would rather be pre drinking at some house party).

From your guys' experience, what time would you recommend to be there at to avoid lineups? (I'm trying to convince them to go for the game, as that is what I will probably end up doing, but I told them I would ask you guys anyways since none of us have been there for a big event before!)

I have been on non NYE games and it has gotten packed. My advice would be get someone there at 4 and snag a table.

I have never been there but I hear it is always super busy on game days. NYE will probably be even crazier. If it opens at 4 I'd go at like 4:30ish and just wait it out/eat something, then watch the game at 7.

If they think they can get in at 10:30 they are indeed idiots.

Was there last year for NYE; we went an hour before the game to have dinner.
It really started to get packed about 30-45 minutes after the game was done.
Can't really remember exactly what time that was, hope that helps.

It's possible, you just need some good looking women and some cash for security at the door.
