Her birthday was a few days ago so she had loot for that too.
And we gave $500 to the Mustard Seed Society, as we do every year at this time instead of sending out Christmas cards and presents to clients.

I didn't realize that you had lost both of your dogs recently. My sympathies. They were gorgeous animals.

I had a good year, so it's all out this Christmas;
Tickets to Wicked
Blue Topaz ring
A nice watch
Red Riding Trilogy DVD
Spa GC
A new couch
I am a frugal spender. It pains me to spend money, however, if she's happy...

Sorry to hear about your dogs. Pictures of them frolicking about was always one of my favourite ancillary benefits of posting on CP. Looked like great companions.

Cash?
That's something her uncle would give her!

Me!!
We decided that we weren't getting anything big this year for each other, as we are getting married May 28.
We just bought a transmission for our truck that we are working on, nothing says I love you like splitting the cost of a transmission!!
And some stocking stuffers which I am proud to say I spent more that I was supposed to!

Thing is, she likes internet shopping. Especially a couple perfume websites. It's expensive though, and, at this point due to other considerations, not really feasible. So in giving her some cash, I am, in effect, giving her a GC to her two favorite 'spoil myself' stores. Especially since internet stores don't 'do' GC's. There will be some nice little presents in her stocking, of course.

You got yourself a present for your wife for Christmas?
I gotta remember that one...

The main present I got for my Wife was a nice set of Wusthof knives. She's been wanting a nice set of knives for awhile now so I'm sure she'll like it. Her sister has a Chef knife thats in the set and my wife loves it, so hopefully that works out.
I got her a few cloths and some other small things as well.
I already know what I got. My bday is in January so she has combined my bday and xmas gifts and got me tickets and a flight into Calgary for the 2 of us to go see a Flames game in January. Never seen a Flames home game so i'm pretty stoked.

Shoes, a Crackberry, a necklace, and a bunch of froofy skin care & beauty products she likes.
My favourite part is filling her stocking with all kinds of little random gifts that will make her laugh or give her a headache figuring out what the hell she's going to do with them.
