I've been hearing some stuff about Texas being in trouble. I don't know anything other than supposedly some information will come out either this week or next.
Also the Auburn deal is heating up again. Apparently a litigator is involved right now and some of the people in the athletic department at "singing like Canaries". We will hear some more information around the first of the year.

Interesting. I know quite a few people associated with the team and usually hear news before it happens, but I haven't heard anything in this regards.

I haven't heard any solid info yet. just the same ole grumblings about players being paid. I think Auburn is doing whatever it can to keep the heat off of them for a little while.

ESPN just reported that Terrell Pryor and 4 other OSU Buckeyes are suspended for the first 5 games next season due to illegally obtaining tattoos....but are OK to play in the Sugar Bowl.
Sigh. The NCAA is such a corrupt group.

I'm sure if the players told the NCAA their dad's set the appointments up and they had no idea that the tattoos were free they wouldn't get any suspension.

Not going to happen, they're appealing the suspensions.

I for one support this 100% and hope that absolutely no games get taken off the suspension, and this has nothing at all to do with the fact that my Spartans are the 5th game on OSU's schedule next year |

Has anyone ever drowned at a football game before?

It actually doesn't look that terrible on the ESPN pregame show. Hard to tell without seeing a full game on it but the guys warming up in the background don't seem to be tearing the field up with their cuts.

Nice of THE Ohio State to embarrass the Big 10 before a bowl game for once instead of during. Who am I kidding, they'll embarrass the Big 10 during the game as well.

Not missing the bowl game for the OSU players is a crazy decision. No lesson taught at all.

So watching the Pinstripe bowl here, and its been a totally great game between KState and Syracuse--up until a terrible excessive celebration call on KSU on a TD. Basically made them have to do the 2 pt convert from the 18.

Pretty disappointed I didn't tell work to stuff it and head to this game. I have no interest in either team, well I actually hate Syracuse for no apparent reason, but it looks like it was a great game and watching football at Yankee stadium would have been pretty cool.

Oh no, Locker just got crushed! Was diving forward for a first down and two defenders both hit him helmet-to-helmet. Looked scary. But he's up now, walking sloooowly to the sideline.

Good ole Big 11 refs. Called the "excessive celebration" on the KSU player but the inbred Vol player does it in his bowl game and not a flag. It's sad that both crews were Big 11 and still couldn't get the call the right way.

Catholics currently up 21-0 on the Convicts. Miami isn't even pretending like they wanted to show up to play this game.
