How has Calgary Puck Benefitted You?
Considering CP makes up around 30% of my surfing time it is a savior at work!!
CP has made me aware of awesome new TV shows like Heroes(1st season), Breaking Bad,and Boardwalk Empire. Stuff i would have never watched otherwise.
CP found me an awesome renter for my condo.
CP introduced me to Troutman and his lawyer services.
CP had the best FUUUUUU thread which we called FFFKKKKKKK??
Oh and the best thing of all. CP gave me the video with the Peter Maher's call of best brawl in hockey ever, against the Anaheim Ducks. I went to that game and have never seen highlights or had clips from that evening until someone posted that on here.
 CP!
Oh and dancing Fatas!

CP has helped me start my basment renovation.
Got me an arcade machine from Gobs.
Flames gimp showed me how to build a computer that is now in my arcade machine it has lasted.
Sent me to various flames games.
Helped me make money selling wii's and rockbands.
Sold tons of tickets and bought tickets.
Helped me field a softball team.
I have gotten really good deals on playstations and a big pile of slate stone ducay gave me in my back yard that I haven't installed yet because I broke my ankle.
Showed me the kotalik song
And only place I can argue about mutated pigs and the yummy pork they produce without people staring awkwardly at me

- I've saved an ungodly amount of money by not purchasing shaving cream (hair conditioner for the win)
- I started watching breaking bad which quickly became a top 3 show for me
- The funny/cool picture and video thread may end up being one of the treasures of the internet. When CP meets it's eventual demise, that's the thread I'll miss the most.
- Countless sales that would have gone unnoticed have been brought to my attention. I can't even imagine the money I've saved over the years.
- I don't think I've ever run into a tech problem that wasn't solved within a few hours
Incredible site.

Several clients
Allowed me to get off the crazy right-wing political board I used to hang out at and spew my craziness here instead.
Free hockey game...
Keeping me in the loop on hockey stuff I otherwise wouldn't look up for myself
The funny pictures thread
The Buy/Sell forum has let me sell some stuff rather than trashing perfectly good items or trying to deal with the annoyance of ebay or kijiji.

Ball hockey
met a lot of CP users through ball hockey and they are all quality people
Flames tickets (sometimes free)
Allowing me to go to the once in a lifetime heritage classic game at cost
Have got good deals through the good deal thread
I've become more aware of what is going on with other teams

- Dulled the pain as I went through two miscarriages, a divorce, a bout with chlamydia, and my house burning (mostly) to the ground along with my two adorable dogs and everything else I owned.
- Provided a forum for unproductive drive-by deadpan remarks of questionable humorous value.

Besides getting me through countless hours of boring night class lectures over my college years...
-CP found me a wicked place to stay on my trip to Cuba
-found me an endless amount of hilarious shyte from the internets(Youtube, pics, stories, etc) to email forward to my buddies, in which they all probably think I've found myself and am a comedic genius
-introduced me to the greatness that is the "Call on Me" music video. Had heard that song 1000 times over the past few years and always hated it until I saw the vid. Now I heart it.

I've used the buy and sell a lot.
- sold tons of tickets to CP members. bought a few pairs as well including stamps tickets. Got free tickets from a CPer once
-bought a 9242 bell receiver
-hopefully will sell my ipod today (fingers crossed)
-bought a #### ton of comic books for cheap
-bought my xbox 360 and a controller on another occassion
Most of all CP is my primary source of hockey and general news.

I found out about (and was able to use) the best wedding photographer in North America, Neeper.
At the wedding, my mom asked me if he was any good, and I told her that within a few years saying we had him as our photographer will be a huge bragging point. He's already well on his way to worldwide fame.
Other than that - funny pictures that I copy to Facebook (where people always ask me "Where do you find this stuff?"), real estate advice, local deals and events, snow tire advice, yadda yadda yadda.

CP truly is one stop internet shopping. Tech, music, comedy, conversation....it's all here. When I joined up in 04 I thought it was just a Flames message board. Now it's become a go-to extravaganza of awesomeness.

CP saved me ~$400/year on my cable bill and ~$200/year on my cell phone bill.
CP also made the Olympics even more special thanks to the Opening Ceremony Thread and Hot Olympians thread. I joined because of those threads, haha.
I guess overall CP has made me much smarter when it comes to everything hockey, which I'm thankful for.
