He's in tough though, there's 9 natural left-wingers fighting for 4 spots.

Anyone have any pressing questions for Ryan Howse?

He seems to be struggling to score lately, not sure if you wanna ask him about that though, lol.
He has 19 goals in 25 games. Still solid numbers, but considering his pace earlier this year, hes slowed down.
Hopefully he picks it up again soon.

I really want to see Ryan play in Lethbridge this friday but the World Junior Camp starts this weekend in Toronto. Does anyone know if he'll be in the lineup? Or will he be gone to Toronto already??

2 more goals for Howse against Lethbridge tonight and the 1st star before he heads out for the Team Canada World Jr camp tomorrow! He now has 22 goals in 29 games.

all the best to Howse going into the team CDN camp tomorrow.

his season has been one of the few bright spots for this organization thus far this season.

One of the few bright spots? Okay, the results in the standings are not there for the NHL club but lets not toss out the baby with the bath water. Abbottsford is producing some good results and the prospects are stepping it up. Irving is having a great year. Nemisz is proving his doubters wrong and looking great in his first pro season. The team is being lead by a bunch of green kids. That's pretty impressive. Howse isn't the only recent draft pick to be performing pretty well. Reinhart is looking pretty good too, exceeding expectations I would say. There are positive results for the team but all too often we get wrapped up in looking at only the results on the scoreboard or the standings. Things are no where near as bad as some would lead you to believe. There are some very bright spots there if you look at them objectively.

fair enough. I think you misread the word "few" for "only" in my post.

I like this video... i think it shows alot about Howse... you see him driving to the net, getting a steal in teh offensive zone and of course that rocket of a wrist shot

I haven't seen Howse play at all. What part of his game is lacking causing him to to be cut from the team? Speed, size?

I think Canada was putting emphasis on size this year which Howse lacks.

Wonder if he'll be a fighter like his biological dad Trent Potskin

If that's the case, he's probably related to Joey Potskin who holds the Chilliwack Chiefs record for most goals (60) and points (146) scored in a season.
