Vikings stink...Favres fault no doubt...but stink all the same.
One of the worst efforts from an NFL team in recent history. Yeah it's cold, yeah you are out of it.....so why not fight back?

 Weak and expected.

Well if you told me in September that the Bears would be the first team to clinch their Divison in the NFL this season I would have said, yeah, okay bub....Never thought the Vikings would be this bad, and the injuries would do in the Packers the way they did.

So who's dumber? People that make "Division Champions" caps or the people that buy them?

Well I think most "champs" hats are stupid, but these are the worst. Not so much in baseball, because the regular season is such a grind.

But if i spot a Seahawks 2010-2011 NFC West Division Champs hat on someone I'd probably die of laughter.

Man, the guy just ruined that team. Don't get me wrong Favre is a good QB but he is getting old and his attitude stinks. It rubs off to all the other players as well.

Favre"ruined" that team? HAHAHAHA....awesome.

I guess he ruined them last year as well when he almost got them to the Super Bowl?

The Favre hate is unbelievable.

And to calm those who wanna call me fanboy or Favre lover or any other clever name they think they are throwing out....the guy was, by a mile, the best option for them last night. If you disagre..please name who else on that team is a better qb.

I guess you could say Favre was the best option. Depends on what you were trying to accomplish. If you are evaluating for next season then he wasn't the best option. I don't think there's a team out there who is going to want Favre next season after the debacle this season was. He can try and say he is going out on his own terms, but no one is going to want him.

for a team that looked so good last year, the immediate future is not bright, who do they get as a QB? Mcnabb, Anderson?? and the vaunted pass rush has all but dried up, at least they still have AP in the backfield..

The best option for what? To win a meaningless game? If that's what they were trying to do last night, then I agree, he was the best QB on the roster for that.

I would think they are looking at next year, evaluating the roster, etc. So starting Joe Webb, while disastrous from a "outcome of the game" perspective, would have been a good way to evaluate the roster and what kind of young players you want to keep around. |
