Thought I'd dust off this old thread, seeing as I've got a paper due tomorrow morning, worth 30% of my mark. It's also the last paper that I'll ever have at the college level, so I got nostalgic about the thread. She's gonna be a late night, I can tell already..

Here it is! I tried to bump it last week when I had a paper due but couldn't find it.

Cranked out 7 pages in 2 hours.

I don't think I'll have to do anymore papers this semester, maybe one but not a lot.

Bahahahaha! I've had some good times with this thread the previous 4 years, but now I take my leave. No more school for this guy. Never again shall I ever need to write a paper or finish a lame multimedia assignment.

Seeing as its my last ever paper, you'd think I'd take a little pride in this one. Not the case, im just mailing it in, after 4+ years I just don't have the patience for it anymore. I'd say I've got maybe an hour left on this bad boy, then I'll hand in this piece of crap tomorrow.

My last paper in undergraduate started off with similar high hopes of pride and hardwork, but soon degenerated into me ripping off another paper I had written 2 years ago. 4+ years of undergraduate tears the soul.

Ive had papers worth 50% and 25 pages single spaced... those suck.

I dont even know if my prof read them (yes same prof, 2 different classes, 2 papers worth 50% and 25 pages long) because i got the same 85% on both...

I have a measly 6 pager due in the AM. I've so far written 4 pages of complete garbage and is essentially just a glorified (for lack of better word) summary of the original text.
Surprisingly this 6 pages is worth 25%.

Almost done my 2nd last paper of my way too long university career.

Problem is my brain is dead and I want to sleep but I've had too much caffeine. I want to wake up in the morning and write the last few pages but that looks less and less likely. Damn. Oh, well. I'm pretty brain dead right now but I might be able to squeeze out another page or two.

And how appropriate it is almost exactly 3am!

Somehow lucked into taking 4 classes this semester, 2 of them had in class finals, had an Economics final on saturday night, now just grinding out math till friday when I finally get to come home.

Just finished my last 1500-word paper of a (hopefully) successful semester. I don't have any final exams, either! I tried desperately for that elusive 4.0 this semester but sadly a group project early on ****ed me. Best I can hope for now is a 3.93 but will probably have to settle somewhere in the 3.60-3.75 range. I'm hovering right between an A and A- in two of my four classes right now and need the final assignments to decide where I'll end up.

I'll try again next semester.

How are finals going for everybody?

'Grats on finishing! 4.0'ing a semester would have been sick. You'll get that 3.93 .

I'm close. Finishing up my last paper. One final tomorrow then two on Fri.

However, if I can't get this damned paper done soon I may have to push back handing it in until Monday.

But this is my last semester ever so I'm really pushing to finish this paper so that when I write that last exam on Friday I'll be totally done. It is for a 4th year seminar though so I don't really have to worry about late penalties. I'm so close too! I need about 1 maybe 2 more pages then editing. Bibliography is ready to rock so I'm really close.

You trying to get into grad school or something??? A 4.0GPA gets you the same degree a 2.0GPA does FYI.

I'll be writing a final paper tonight, about 2000 words. Shouldnt be too bad.

2 of 4 finals done... have a management final tomorrow at 2 then my tax final (individual mostly not corporate) on Saturday at 9. This'll be the earliest I've finished since my 1st year so I'm definitely pumped!! And I got my two term papers back with nice grades! Woo!!

I always seem to get one class with a brutal teacher that kills my perfect 4.0.

Last term I missed it by one mark, and (very) ironically it was one of the easiest courses offered at the U of C, GOPH375. I wasn't aware that the answers to all the quizzes were on the textbook website... I never buy the textbooks... And of course the quizzes were impossible without the answer key.

I'm not really sure what I plan on doing after my undergrad. I'm a third year communications student, so options with that degree are somewhat limited, it's not like I'm in engineering or business. That said, I'm really enjoying what I'm doing for the first time in a long time and it's translating into really good grades for me. I don't even feel like I work hard most of the time; I find if I'm really interested in what I'm studying it comes very easy to me.

I don't want to rule out law school or education as possibilities quite yet. A 3.7 on its own doesn't get you into law school, but a 2.0 sure does keep you out. Plus I like free money, and a 2.0 also isn't getting you any bursaries or scholarships.
