I have very limited knowledge of trucks, but agree with those who say it looks like a garbage or recycle truck.
It's too early for rounds to be starting (at least for City ones). Possible scenario....guy picking up a buddy for work?

It might not be a regular thing. Could be someone couldn't start their car and calls co-worker to pick him up.

Actually I did miss that part, sucks but you can't go threw life thinking it's going to keep happening either, the day I jump out of bed because someone parks beside my house in the alley is the day I leave this city. I can see why he's a little paranoid but he's got his camera's and lighting. now get a big dog and enjoy your sleep.

Sorry if I'm covering ground already tread, but have you told police about this, then? If you think they're going to "keep trying," your life could be in pretty big danger. I'd say getting a large dog would be an extremely sage decision.

I love how the uninformed think that they've got it all figured out and that they know the best course of action. They top it off with an air of "since you clearly wouldn't have thought of this without my help then you should do this." The internet does nothing to dissuade me as to the selfcentredness of the world.

People in 'real life' do nothing to dissuade me from that fact. Why would a messageboard populated by such people be any different?

Translation: You're partly to blame for this mess.
Am I getting close?

No, he's not partly to blame for this mess. It's not like he's hanging up a poster sized inventory of things he has worth stealing.
