He is the Chiefs best offensive player, and I haven't heard anything from him to suggest that he's not a team player. He doesn't get the fanfare Chris Johnson does, but I think he's every bit as dynamic. The Chiefs have been conscious about keeping his touches down so that he doesn't take too much of a beating as he does have a pretty slight frame.

He's cleaned up the fumbling problem he had too, Syl. Good signing.

Patriots' ILB Brandon Spikes gets a 4 game suspension for illegal substance.

He is a pretty big run-stop contributor for the Pats' 3-4 defense. He will be back for the playoffs, and I'm sure he isn't a make or break player for them but from what I understand the step down to Gary Guyton is pretty significant.

NY Giants are stupid for not trying to avoid this story, that everyone has known about for days.

Why not fly into Minnesota a day earlier to avoid not being able to fly in??

Well Brett Farve gets an extra day to recover and start his 298th straight game. The Vikings and Giants game is being moved to Monday night.

It was supposedly a cold medicine. The list of banned substances is a long one to say the least. But a rule is a rule and oh well.

Even if they had, this game was likely never going to happen as scheduled.

Its a record snowfall...in Minneapolis!!....thats saying something. Fans would not have been able to attend safely (buses are parked and they cant clear the metrodome roof properly which could be a huge problem in case of collapse and its REALLY cold with blizzrd like winds still around) off-field personel and even the players would have had trouble getting there safely and on time. When you add in that NFL teams only have 10 home gates a year, they could ill afford only having the stadium half full...or worse.

This is the right decision all around for both safety and fairness to everyone involved.

As it turns out, it wasnt safe to be at the stadium in Minny.

The roof has partially collapsed.

This has to really put the NFL in a bind. Doubtful it can be made safe enough to play even tomorrow night. So do they move it to NY for a Tuesday game? A neutral field somewhere maybe in another dome?

ESPN just said that the game in Minny simply will not be able to be played at the Metrodome tomorrow or Tuesday as there are tears in the teflon and the last time this happened it took 3 full days to repair.

one other thing mentioned is that the Giants didnt bring footwear or winter gear to be able to play outside...so that is another obstacle to play the game anywhere in Minnesota.

This should make it easy for the NFL to move the Vikings to Los Angeles. Than when the Minnesota tax payer caves and build a new football stadium there....they can move the Jaguars to Minnesota.

woo snow!
They were just showing the field in Chicago. As if that turf wasn't bad enough already, there's a foot of snow on it now.

Yeah, unfortunately the Patriots arent unfamiliar with crappy weather. Not much chance they can take advantage of the visiting team. also, 30 mph winds on top of that will make today's game low scoring, i would imagine.

Did the NFL get rid of the flex game Sunday Nighter this year? I forgot about it until just now, seems like the matchups for the year have already been set.

EDIT: Falcons up 17-0 early on the Panties. They just don't lose. If the Saints finish 13-3 and end up with the #5 seed, in the words of John Gruden, I'm gonna have a f****** eruption.
