Should I put in Kenny Britt tonight?
Other options for the week are
Calvin Johnson
Sidney Rice
Malcolm Floyd
Michael Crabtree
Start 3 receivers, and it's week one of playoffs in this league to boot.

Advice please... another Tony Romo injury-sufferer here!
Kitna vs. PHI
Garrard vs. OAK
Fitzpatrick vs. CLE
Who to start?

Hmmm.
That Oakland pass D is really good, so im not sure you want to go there, especially with how well the Jags run the ball which limits Garrards passes from the get go.
Fitzpatrick is capable of putting up large fantasy points for sure, but again the Browns D is pretty good.
That leaves Kitna. The Cowboys are playing as well as anyone else in football right now and Garrett has them mixing the pass and run really well all of a sudden, which allows for big plays downfield. It all depends on how he is at getting the ball out quickly as the eagles will be blitzing half the plays or so. Losing Bryant probably hurts the downfield stuff but with Witten and Austin there, they are good enough to realize the hot reads and get the ball quickly.
I guess i would start Kitna, but all of them may have mediocre days.
Tough this time of year figuring out who is going to do what though.

So do I go with Vick or Rodgers this weekend? I know, quite the terrible position to be stuck in. Can't decide if the Lions or the Cowboys are more likely to give up a 40 point day.

Rodgers is in a groove right now. I read an article that said he hasnt thrown a pick in his last 170+ attempts (5 games), and also leads the league in varying the length of his throws....meaning he is more balanced in short/medium/long passes than anyone else. He also has such wide variety of guys to go to even without Finley. Also I am really thinking the new RB (Starks)will be a big part of the passing game this weekend but
I have a feeling the Packers may work on the ground game this weekend with some really cold weather games approaching...so that may factor in as well.
All that being said, hard to not start Vick because he is such a threat to run the ball for a TD as well...of course Rodgers is really good at that as well (3rd in the NFL in rushing yards for QB's) but Vick is on another planet in that regard.

Yeah, this pretty much sums up my thought process for the last 3 days. Forst week of my playoffs too, and I need a big number at QB. I'm leaning towards Vick, if only becasue of the potential for a 30+ point performance. I think low 20's is a safe bet for both of them (and by saying that I probably jinxed myself) but the potential for a really big number is greater with Vick.
Going to be a game time decision I think.

I would hedge your bets.
Vick and Rodgers most likely have the same expected point return but Vick just has much higher upside. What would make you more disappointed if Vick got 19 points and Rodgers got 26 or if Rodgers got 20 and Vick got 30+?

Go with Vick, as good as Rogers is, he doesn't run for 50 yards and a TD every single week like Vick does. Plus Vick has had 3 extra days off.

Thanks guys, i'm about 99% sure I'll go with Vick. The upside is I have Jennings too, so a good day by Rodgers likely still pays off for me.
If only I wasn't up against Chris Johnson, Hillis, Rivers and Bowe among others. A small league with a few people who don't know what they're doing leaves the top 4-5 teams stacked with talent.

I've got a simple question - Zach Miller or Greg Olsen? Neither has been getting many passes lately and Miller's still banged up.

Id go Olsen...the Pats are a bit vulnerable over the middle and losing Spikes makes them even weaker.

It's not being moved to another week, they're going to play tomorrow somewhere. Probably Ford Field.
EDIT: Just announced: Giants-Vikings at 7:20pm Monday night at Ford Field.

20 degrees and swirling winds up to 55 miles an hour in Chicago....I don't think I'd want anyone trying to catch passes in that game.
Which leads me to...I have Cutler and Fitzpatrick as QB's and both face horrid weather. I can pick up McNabb or Josh Freeman who face much more favorable condintions. Which one would you grab? Aqib Talib is out for TB, and Washington has had a bad pass defence all year.

So I have Bowe, without Cassel this week.
As my backup WR I have Santana Moss at TB with Talib out, or Eddie Royal at Arizona.
I'm leaning towards Moss
Suggestions?

Freeman if anyone. Grossman has taken snaps with the 1st team this week....McNab is on a short leash.
As for the weather in Chicago...that will hurt long passes a lot...which works more against Cutler IMO. The short 10 yd passes with Brady's arm shouldnt be affected quite as much. Either way though that game will probably be really low scoring because of footing issues. I hate to have to cheer for the Pats, but I really need them to win as a PackerBacker.

Well...today has been an absolute and epic disaster for both of my fantasy teams today. In one league I've died a horrid playoff death, and in the other I'm going to lose a must win game that will keep me out of the playoffs. To make matters worse...my wife took out my vehicle today with specific orders of DON'T open the drivers side window. What does she do....yeah....so that will likely cost me $500 to fix that I don't have. What an terrible ****ing day. ****ing hate it, HATE IT!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear. Maybe KC can get a win for you to make things better? Although with Matt not in at QB, it's going to be tough.
