If he can't go this weekend it pretty much gives the Chiefs no chance against the Chargers.

What is truly amazing about Cassel's numbers is that he has done it with only 1 real downfield threat in the passing game. Outside of Bowe, they've got nothing wide.
What's even more amazing is that they can win when Bowe is effectively removed from the game like this past Sunday.
Kansas City is pretty good and Cassel has been great.

He's benefitted from a lot of YAC by his running backs but I have to give him credit for not throwing the pics. However all his success is based off play action behind the best running game in the league. The Raiders took away the run and force him to pass and he was pretty mediocre. The key for the Chiefs is to not get behind by more than a score because without the running game they aren't going to win any games off Cassel running the majority of plays from a shotgun offense.

I like the Bears tonight. The Pats are coming off an emotional win and short rest.
EDIT: Damn, have my schedule mixed up.

The start of 4 straight wins needs to happen tonight for Indy otherwise they will be on their couches watching the playoffs.
Jerraud Powers (one of our best defenders) got hurt last week and is out for the year and Sanders was put on IR and is out for the year. Clint Session (a top defender) is out as well. With Bulitt out for the year as well, the defense is thin. On offense, Clark is out for the year, Gonzalez is out for the year, Addai is out, Collie is out and Hart is out. Colts signed Dominic Rhodes.....3rd tour of duty and he will play tonight. They better get their crap together tonight. Not sure what to expect. I really like what I see from Blair White. I would keep him over Gonzalez next year. Go Colts!

Colts have become too 1 dimensional this year. They've had their share of injuries and haven't seen anyone really step up and contribute afterwards.

Colts were 1 dimensional last year, dead last in rushing and overcame a ton of injuries as well last season. This year the toll has just been too great. Lucky for the Colts this season is far from over

One of the functions of all the injuries is that the Colts are no longer able to jump out to big leads every game and force their opponents to throw the ball to catch up. The Colts defence isn't built to have teams banging away at them with the ground game for 4 yards a pop. As a result guys like Freeny and Mathis aren't as effective with the pass rush, and other guys are going down since it is an undersized unit thats not built for a physical war.

That was an old school Colts drive. Freeny causes a turnover, Peyton goes deep to Wayne and the Colts get the touchdown. 14-0 against a team playing with little or no confidence.

In terms of the Titans, why don't they ever go deep to Moss? Makes no sense to me.

Because Kerry Collins is a billon years old and can't throw the ball deep at all.

Having watched Blair White for 4 years at MSU you should be really happy to have him. That guy has all the intangibles that turn an unsigned WR into a guy who becomes an important member of a team for a long time. He might not become a Pro Bowler, but he'll be a very good player for a while.
