Always good for a soundbite if nothing else.

haha, he was comparing the WC bidding process to someone "going the extra mile" to make it to the next round on the x factor

Perdew says that Newcastle's goal for the season is to stay up in the PL. No kidding, but dude, they're freakin mid-table.

DTguardian Carlos Tevez speaks: "I wanted to leave in summer,
but was convinced to return. Sadly, my feelings have not changed"

DTguardian More Tevez: "I hugely resent the management's

I thought Barton had quite a good game in the win over Liverpool. Still shocked about the Hughton firing but glad the boys were able to pick up 3 points over the weekend.

If only those losses had taken place over the last 17 years we'd be due for a Sp*rs-style win...

Allardyce got fired today as well, another ridiculous firing by a PL team

was a great end to end start but after the first 10 minutes it's been pretty tentative on both sides

great header by Park though for the 1-0 lead

would be surprised to not see Cesc, RVP, and Walcott all at some point this half

Rooney gets lucky as Man U hangs on for the win.

Great reaction to the deflection by Park for a great header.

Sir Alex on Sam Allardyce's sacking: "I've never heard such a stupid decision. It's absolutely ridiculous. I wouldn't want to follow him."

Quite simply, Arsenal didn't/doesn't have enough.

Unless this squad can get over the hump it will be a fight between Chelsea and United for the league. It's rather unfortunate as seasons like this year are the best opportunities/windows for a young squad to breakout.
