I needed Gore to put up less than 17 points to get the win. Best timed injury ever
And it clinched me a playoff spot.

With Gore lost for the season I'm scrambling with who to fill my #2 spot with. Who would you start?
Fred Jackson @ Minny
Mike Goodson @ Sea
I'm leaning towards Goodson, seeing as Minny's a much better D. But Jackson's been fantasy gold lately, I feel like benching him could blow up in my face.

Thats a tough one.
I would probably start Jaackson, based only on the fact that he has been good catching out of the backfield so far this season, and Buffalo likely will be passing alot seeing as they will likely get down early, but not by too much that its unreachable.
Either way, both are underwhelming and I feel the same way after failing to grab Westbrook off waivers
I couldnt formulate a late trade to get a legit RB. I have the Jackson 2 ( Steven, Brandon) which is not at all great.
Follow that up with my recieving team being Bowe, Colston, Royal and Santana Moss... I'll be hoping for them and Greg Olsen to pull some weight

In my league there are a couple teams complaining that there aren't enough RBs.
Of course they didn't bother to put in a claim for Westbrook, or any of the other RBs which emerged since the season started. They must just want to wine to explain their poor season.

I had the misfortune of drafting good RB's like Chris Johnson and Mendenhall...as a result I really didn't do much except look for bye week replacements and never even looked to claim a guy like Peyton Hillis who's owned the two clowns I drafted.
I'm guessing in a lot of leagues guys like Matt Cassel, Peyton Hillis, Arian Foster, Brandon Lloyd, Mike Williams (either one), Brandon Pettigrew were available after the original draft. If you had those players as starters for this coming week you'd probably kill your opponent, and are on a 4 game winning streak or better.

I have Hillis and lost last week. I was Cutler-ed.
Well, that and my IDP royally sucked. A solo tackle is worth a point. I had 3 guys who average 5+ tackles a week each get one. I lost by .83 (148.93 - 148.10)

The matchup gods have really had it out for me these past few weeks. This week I draw the leagues worst team....who just happen to have Michael Vick. He's put up another 35 points and still has time to rack up another 15. Every week I either play Arian Foster, or Peyton Hillis, or Michael Vick and they always have a cream puff matchup. I hate fantasy football

agreed... I was so pissed last week ... Playing the #1 team in my league and we are also personal rivals. I thought I was in great shape . This was my week to shine because I held on to Vincent Jackson all year and I was about to get paid for my investment. My opponent has a lot of early games . By the time Jackson's coming out party started my competitor was done for the day. The score was 98-71 . I was in the drivers seat... Did I mention I also had Peyton Manning and Gore left to play. I was smelling blowout and huge bragging rights....
I tune into the game and DOH!!!!! Jackson goes out on the first series. It's ok I still have Peyton and Gore. Well Peyton throws a stinker and put up a whopping 16 fantasy points , losing me 8 pts bc of INT's . No worries cause I am down 10 with Gore still to play on Monday. Its ok bc I didnt need a blowout a Win is a Win and I know Gore is def picking up 10. First series out he puts up 5.7 pts. I am as good as gold or so I think. The rest is History and I lose by 6.3 pts .... I was on top of the world at 6-2 ... but 4 straight losses by 7 points or less has me fighting for a playoff off spot. I really Hate Fantasy Football!

That loss was against the #1 team. The week before I knocked the previous #1 from 1st to second. I have already defeated the 3rd place team (I'm in 4th). My issue is I have also lost to 2 of the bottom 3 teams (one guy I had my lowest score of the year, the other he had his highest).
This is our final week of the regular season. 3 weeks of playoffs and no games the final week of the NFL regular season.
The worst I can possibly finish is 8th. The only way I would not is if I lose(maybe, I play the guy with Vick this week) AND all the teams behind me win AND one of the team not currently in th e playoffs outscores my by 170 points. Not going to happen.

Lots of teams at 6-6. I need Jiggy to beat carom's harem and Pagal to beat Furnace Face. Wolfwood at 5-7 has a big Point Difference and a win would probably get them in too with some help!

Your team baffles me, highest scoring team in the league and you're 5-7 and may miss the dance. I've never seen anything like that before. My condolences.

Looking for some feedback about who to start at QB in week 14.
I lost Romo when he went down and have started Sanchez ever since and just rode my RBs (Foster/Charles) to wins. I managed to get Cassel off waivers a few weeks ago but my gut leaves me wary of going with him in the playoffs despite his solid numbers.
So Week 14:
Mark Sanchez at home vs. Miami
Matt Cassel in San Diego
I'm leaning towards Sanchez as I also have Holmes and the potential seems to be there for a couple big hookups between the two. Something in my brain though is telling me to start Cassel and play it safer.
Any thoughts?

I'd be wary of using Cassel against San Diego. In 4 career games against the Chargers he's only 1-3 with 3 TD's, 6 INTS, 11 Sacks and 3 fumbles. Even when the Chiefs beat San Diego earlier this year Cassel comleted 10 of 22 passes for 56 yards and one TD. I can't see him getting more than about 14 fantasy points against the Chargers if he has a really good game.
