ya true, the problem is Ashley
and the fans seem genuinely angry at what happened

The year in the Championship was great for the team in the sense that they came together, won tonnes of games and took that momentum in the EPL this season (save for a couple pathetic efforts). Now, after this, I wouldn't be surprised of most of that time and effort is wasted. Unbelievable. And unbelievably harsh on Hughton.

I've obviously missed something here. Newcastle have been doing really well, and I really like the chemistry and quality found in Andy Carroll and Kevin Nolan.
Also, the mustachioed Joey Barton was funny.

If they do get MJ it probly was the right move
although the fact that they named a caretaker means that the MJ move (if it even happens) wasn't set up, and Ashley fired Hughton with no replacement all ready set up

I know Villa are terrible now
but this is an impressive performance considering their two best players are out, as well as Carra

No kidding. If Babel and Ngog could do this consistently we'll be in better shape moving forward.
I've always been fairly high on Babel, he is a Dutch international, but hes so inconsistent he could play for the Flames.

Who said that? Not on my feed. Haha!
Anyways, I apologize to Glen Johnson, he just about took Brad Friedel's head off. That was a nice move.

Yeah, when you get bossed by that Liverpool lineup you got problems.

and with Ashley Young saying he won't sign a new deal, they might lose him in January, not even wait for next summer

Its amazing that they fell this far this fast. They were challenging for the top 4 last season!
Ah well, at least Liverpool is back in the top half of the table, I wish they'd beaten Spurs and they'd be up in the top quarter!

Alan Pardew Set To Be New Newcastle Manager
8 December 2010
BBC Sport
Alan Pardew is set to be named as the new Newcastle manager within the next 24 hours, BBC Sport understands.
The former Reading, West Ham, Charlton and Southampton boss was among the favourites to take over from Chris Hughton, who was sacked on Monday.
Hughton led Newcastle back into the top flight last season but following his dismissal, the club said it wanted someone "with more experience".

'Arry may get passed over for the England job once Capello is through.
Quote:
Harry Redknapp's candidacy as a potential successor to England coach Fabio Capello will be damaged, possibly irrevocably, if he fails to clear his name in a tax evasion case.
Redknapp is charged with tax evasion alongside former Portsmouth chairman and chief executive Milan Mandaric and Peter Storrie with a trial scheduled for April.
Redknapp has made no secret of his desire to manage England and is the bookmakers' favourite for the job, but ESPNsoccernet understands that, as yet, no shortlist of candidates have been drawn up - despite speculation recently that Redknapp has been "sounded out" by the FA for the post. That has been strenuously denied.
"When it comes to choosing an England manger, it cannot be done simply on what the manger has done over the last month or two," the FA source said. "People talked about Roy Hodgson, but at no time did anyone sit down and draw up a shortlist of candidates, even after the World Cup, so again, that cannot be the case."

They can make that go away easily, what they need to worry about more is this quote (taken completely out of context)
'Hey I am a hot bird and I will get my gear off'
