Boo yeah! Passed a big test today by beating the Wild 4-3. Our entire first line was fatigued so they switched up with the second line and it didn't hurt us. We actually got 1 goal from each of the 4 lines (props to Evgeni Dadonov for his first CPHL goal). Unfortunately we lost Jon Sim for 3 weeks to back surgery.

well well well...3-0 over the blew jackets to split our 2 game set.
Best thing is I held them to 10 shots on goal. BORING first period where the Oilers outshot the Jackets 2-1?

Team is a little beat up right now - particularly on the back end.

I both our top goalies are tired - which means Varlamov will finally see his first start tomorrow.

Petr Prucha is the unlikely hero for the Canucks today. The blueline continues to hurt and the shot total indicates that.

^Ya, the Preds lost 4 dmen in the game and a couple of these are long-term. Basically any momentum we had, and hopes of staying in the race are really, really hard now.

In related news I think that I need a defenceman asap if someone has one available!

Another 1 goal win for the Pens. The team seems to be rolling right now. Gionta continues to produce from the 3rd line and Plekanec is starting to come along after a slow start. Nabby was solid again and has been our best player.

tough loss to the Pens, a team right ahead of us in the standings, especially given that the Bruins also keep on trucking atop the division. Steen with a big game to take first star in a losing cause
