Not sure if you're asking me - but the parking rates are listed as a banner ad on the YYC airport site - www.calgaryairport.com
Ad link: http://www.calgaryairport.com/Defaul...cid=753&lang=1
Parking rates link: http://www.calgaryairport.com/Defaul...cid=300&lang=1
I have seen the ads on buses and in the Sun as well. Good move by the airport authority.
It's still 24 a day to park in the P1 garage across from the terminal. 99 max per week, so park four days and pay weekly rate. The P2 garage (next to P1) that's 21/day, 59/week but 11/day after a week. The outdoor lot is $40 per week, 10/day.

Good thinking. I wouldn't have known the airport was cheaper until they advertised in the newspaper - I went to the Caribbean in Feb/March and parked outdoors. I used to park at Park2Go (warmed up car when you get there) but rate was higher, so brushing a bit of snow was worth my time.
Looks like Park n Fly (the one near the Husky station) closed in October?

I was at the airport last night, and noticed the cheaper rates as well.
Has anybody parked in P2...I assume it's still quite close. Thata a big swing in price from P1 to P2.
I assume it's just the old supply demand. In the last couple of years there must have been at least a couple thousand spots added with Park To Go coming into play, and the new airport parkade.
I just saw Park To Go now offers $99 to park there for up to 30 days!

Hey cmyden;
Super late notice and specific request here.
What is available for a week-long all-inclusive trip departing between December 6 and 10th?
The trip is all under-30's looking for a decent place to stay, but also one that will have a wicked party atmosphere.
Looking to spend around $1,500/person but have no issue going higher for the right place.
Open to locations other than Cancun - done that already.
Basically, our ideal trip is: Get up late morning, casually drink at the beach/pool all day, and get crazy until it's light out. Repeat.

Just for 4 days?
Go to Cabo @ the Temptation resort. It sounded like it was rockin' all the time that we were staying next door at the Barcelo. And there was a rocking bar across the street that sounded like it was open til at least 4am.
I think Transat has a deal on it. And the flight time isn't too bad.

Like Puxlut mentions, I would look at Cabo too. There are some good deals in that date range at the moment.
Hola Grand Faro is $748/person after tax for 7 nights, leaving on Dec 6.

Temptation is $795, 7 nights, leaving on the 6th as well.

Last minute flight for a solo traveller: Calgary to Cabo San Lucas - $97 roundtrip after tax!
Nope, it's not a mistake, I've been seeing a few of these lately, although this is the first one from Calgary.
Try November 29 to December 06, from Calgary to Los Cabos (SJD) on any major Canadian travel site. Here's the screenshot from Itravel2000.com for example:
To Mexico, it's usually a great price if you can get a flight for under $400 roundtrip after tax. $97 is just ludicrous.
The thing is though, it only works for 1 person, so only a solo traveler can take advantage of this one.

Any reason why 2 'solo' travelers couldn't by the same flight? Or is there only one spot left on the plane?

I believe that's the case, there's just one ticket at that price. There have been a few of these freak $97 fares lately from various cities across Canada, all operated by WestJet but I believe actually being sold through Thomas Cook. They have a relatively new partnership. Winnipeg had one to Jamaica last week for the same price. Toronto has one to Cancun, and one to Curacao. Saskatchewan had some too.
Some of them have worked for 2 or more people, and some have only worked for 1 ticket.
That being said, I just checked and it's still available, so it may be that you can buy one, and then buy another. (Or else nobody has bought that one ticket yet, also possible)

Does anyone know how full the economy lot now gets with the lower parking price?

Parked there last week (@ 50/week) and it's pretty full, but there's a lot of turnover. It took me about 30 seconds to find a spot, and that was because I parked next to a luggage cart pen so I could find my car when I got back. (Good thing I did - I got home Monday night in the midst of that fataing snowstorm and couldn't identify cars at all since they were all covered by an inch of snow).
Another hint: there's two exits. Everyone seems to congregate at one; if there's a line, just go to the other one.

Calgary to Seattle - $272 roundtrip after tax
Alaska Airlines has dropped the price of their flights from Calgary to Seattle down to $272 roundtrip after tax.
It's notable because flights from Calgary to Seattle and back haven't been below $450 after tax in a *long* time.
It looks to be available on the majority of dates between now through the end of February or so. Doesn't include the Christmas holidays unfortunately.

It's been a long time. I remember Alaska used to occasionally have flights for as cheap as $230-$250, but it's been forever.
Someone passed along this deal to me that goes well with it:

Cmyden,
Am looking for Calgary to Frankfurt or Dusseldorf (or even Koln) for first week of June 2011. Pretty pricey right now on quick glance.
Any idea of the best time to be purchasing?
Thanks

Air Transat has one to Frankfurt for $947 roundtrip after tax. June 4-12. Everything else is $1300+.
Air Transat to Frankfurt is likely to be your best bet for something cheap.
Condor is going to start having flights this summer from Calgary to Frankfurt which should hopefully drive down prices a bit. They don't start until July though it looks like. ($930 at the moment)
You're likely safe watching prices without fear until at least late March/early April.

Any good deals on flying down to the Cancun for the Great Parnassus?
Id be leaving on Jan 28th and returning Feb 4th, the earlier the flight on the 28th the better.
Thanks
The best deal I can get comes to a total of 1700 dollars or so.
