The pass interference that was called when the riders intercepted the ball was not much different then that and i don't see many people complaining..(tho i think both calls were the right call)

I will say one thing though, maybe I am just blind to the way some Rider fans act, but I am embarassed to say that many of the same people in this thread cheer for the same Hockey team as me. You want to call a fan base classless, that is fine, but you could show a little yourselves.

lol, becase we are happy the Riders lost?

I thought it was a pretty cheap call but if you are going to make that call fine but then they have to make the call later in the game that was basically exactly the same when the Rider interferred with Green or Richardson.
The issue is more with calling the cheap call to extend the Riders drive 9for about the billionth time thi season) and then ignoring it when it happened against the Als and killed their drive.
If you are going to make ticky tack calls then make them for boths sides.

It was quite different as the Rider had his arm around the waste much earlier and used it to move Cahoon out of the way. That was a clear case of interference.

How many other teams in the league do you see getting a fresh set of downs from the goal line constantly?

Another play that surprisingly didn't get alot of talk was in the Semi-final in the 2nd half on an important play where a Lions DB picked off Durant which may have sealed the deal but the officials called PI on the DB. On the replay you can clearly see the DB broke on the ball and jumped in front of the receiver to grab it. Suitor didn't say jack about it which was surprising seeing he was a DB but I assumed he had his Rider blinders on as it certainly merited another look but they moved on like the play was no big deal. The riders ended up scoring on that drive but to me it was an extremely marginal call on a game changing play but I also found TSN in general really talked down any infractions of the Riders while making more of a big deal about calls on the other team.

Yeah, I know exactly the play you mean. It was a complete BS call, as the DB was playing the ball all the way and Dressler fell down on very light contact. In their last three games, how many touchdown drives of longer than 40 yards have the Riders had that have not been aided by a PI call? I'm guessing one, maybe two. They've had at least four touchdowns resulting from suspect PI calls in that time.

I lost alot of respect ofr Dressler in the playoffs with his diving antics. Even a Riders fan can't dispute that they came out on the positive side of every big call in the playoffs. The league even reviewed the late interception last night which was obviously a good catch at full speed in hopes they may be able to find a grey area nugget to overturn and keep the league's flagship team alive.

really, how much of the riders do the league own?People keep saying how bad the rider fans are and they are not true fans so why would the league have them as there flagship franchise?
I bet they review lots of plays throughout the season, but name me once where it has changed the outcome of a game that already has been played.

Because those crappy fans spend a ton of money.

So BC won the game, they reviewd it after the game and awarded the win to the riders?
when has a games result (another words they changed the winner) because they reviewed the play after the game is over.

It was the Calgary game not BC game and why would they need to overturn results after the game when they can fix the result during the game?

my mistake i apologize, but whatever, if you believe it's fixed that is your choice.whatever makes you sleep better at night.
but i don't understand why if people think a league is fixing games why they would continue to watch it.the moment i start to think that the league is fixing games(even if it favours my team)is the moment i am no longer a fan.
bad reffing is bad reffing.i'm sure if i went to a riders forum they would be saying the league was fixing games against them.ditto for the lions,ticats..etc.

If you went to a Riders forum would all the posts be as incomprehensible as this one?

It has created a lot of half-fans like me - I can enjoy watching it but really cannot take it seriously.

I have reduced the amount of time and money spent on the CFL the last couple of years.
Did not go to a game at all last season, gave my Grey Cup ticket to someone else (not a Rider troll) and didn't make any plans to go the Grey Cup this season.
I still watch because I like the Stampeders and it is tough to just stop caring about guys you have watched for a number of years but my interest has certainly gone way down since the league has begun blatantly cheating for one team.
