Kevin Love is a great offensive rebounder who can anticipate missed shots really well

They'll start winning, but they aren't a championship-caliber team. They won't make it to the NBA Finals. The farthest I think they'll get is make it to the conference finals.

I even doubt that Superman and Rondo's boys will have something to say about that.

I think Wall has had a bigger impact on his team than Griffin.
I'm really loving this year's NBA. A lot of the middling teams like Indiana, Utah, Chicago, New York making a bit of noise. Some old greats like San Antonio and Dallas looking elite once again. Obviously the top end still dominating (orlando/boston/LA). And of course, Miami falling flat on their freakin faces.

The King with No Rings makes his return to Cleveland tonight. First time I have ever recorded a basketball game - I expect some classic signs and chants tonight

The Heat are 5th in the conference and only 3.5 games behind Boston for first. I don't think that's a really terrible record with more than 3/4 of the season to go. Considering Wade hasn't been fully healthy it's actually pretty good. It will take some time for the team to gel, they have three players who have played the majority of their careers as the only true superstars on their teams. Once the guys learn to play together, they'll be a huge threat come playoff time.
It's going to be an awesome post-season in the East this year! Boston, Orlando, Miami... and then you have Chicago who is not far behind, especially with Boozer back in the lineup. The Hawks can definitely be an upset team as well. Gonna be one helluva year!

Does Cleveland always play The Imperial March during away team starting line-up introductions?

Man. I thought for sure this year was going to be a battle for the cellar, with Amare leaving town, but Nash still has the Suns in a playoff spot.
It's ridiculous. You can throw any combination of teammates at him, regardless of skill, experience or play-style, and the guy still figures out a way to win games with them.

He's even got a 37 year-old Grant Hill playing in vintage form. It must be a gift to play with Nash, just get into position and you'll get the ball. Best pure point guard since John Stockton.

Nash is just such a pure point guard and somebody you can always count on. His stats this year are ridiculous. His shooting is better, his passing is better, turnovers are down...Hopefully his body holds up and we continue to see such a high level of play from him.
I wish the Magic somehow put together a package for Steve Nash as a "win now" type move. With Howard covering for his defensive deficiencies and a whole variety of offensive weapons, it'd be crazy.

Nash + Howard would be a deadly duo

pretty much just the same as amare + nash imo....it's the rashard lewis, pietrus, redick that takes it over the top for me. howard comes to pick and roll, if your team collapses to help nash finds a shooter, if you sag off nash sticks it, if you don't d up tight enough howard will superman it

Looks like the Lakers are getting someone to take some minutes from Gasol (who is cooked already!)
Nets, Lakers, Rockets are in advanced talks on 3-way deal sending T. WIlliams to HOU, S. Vujacic and a future HOU 1st to NJ. Also included in deal, Nets' Joe Smith goes to LA and Lakers send 2011 1st rounder to NJ. Also, HOU sends NJ a '12 1st pick..
Looks like the Nets are lining up 1st round picks for a run at Carmelo - this deal was confirmed by The Machine after tonight's Laker game - deal cannot be announced until tomorrow as Smith cannot be traded before Dec 15

I'm a Hawks fan and Joe Smith didn't seen ti have too much left last season. Not worth a 1st rounder unless Sasha's salary is larger than I would guess.
