There are very few things that would lead me to cheer for a team from Montreal.

Kinda like how the Vipers allowed Riders fans to pregame there before the regular season game this year.

Actually I kinda don't mind businesses profiting from Ridermania. I kind of wish I thought up a business a few years years ago before the Riders emerged from decades long suckatude, that pasted the Riders logo on innocuous household items and sold them for double or triple the price. They're just good capitalists.

He's got a HUGE smile like this was the trophy he was playing for.
Trade him to Toronto for picks. Yes I'm comfortable with Tate as the starter.

You've gotta be freaking kidding me. He's not allowed to be happy for winning this award? I'm sure he's steamed that he played badly in the Western Final, but for god's sake, let the man be happy. I'd be angry at him if he was sulking while receiving the trophy. Let him enjoy this.

Ha ha seems like Stamps fans aren't the only ones feeling there's things going on behind the scenes. The Als are accusing the league of favoring the Riders;
Quote:
"It seems like the league wants to create problems by imposing all sorts of somewhat bizarre things (on us)," Proulx said. "It's clear they want Saskatchewan to win the (Grey Cup) game.
"I'm making a shocking statement, but I don't care because I've seen this going on since I've been in the CFL.

Kind of interesting the Als have to stay in an average hotel while the Riders get to stay in a 5 star hotel. I knew before the Western Final the the league preferred to have the Riders in the Grey Cup and by the way if was officiated didn't dispell that. I also believe it probably serves them best to have the Riders to win this Grey Cup. The league gave Rider Fans the Commissioner's Award (Kind of a slap in the face of Stampeder, Eskimo, and Als fans that have supported their teams and filled their stadiums for much longer) so I'm sure they would also like to hand them the Grey Cup.

I'm not sure why the CFL would want to favor the Riders - it would make more sense for the CFL to favor the Argos.

Not much the league could have done to alter the outcome of the Argos/Als game as Montreal outclassed them from the opening kickoff. I'm sure Riders/Argos would be their dream Grey Cup.

I don't understand why the Riders would get the home locker room too. The Als had the better regular season record and should get the home facilities as a reward.
If it's true that the Als are in a hotel without no workout room, pool, or hot-tub and they aren't allowed to use Commonwealth's weight room then this league is even more of a joke than I thought. Are they supposed to find a World Health Club and wait in line to use equipment?

After the Rickey Foley mysteriously signed in Toronto after it was all but assured he was returning to B.C. I wouldn't be so sure they aren't.

the team from whatever division is hosting the game gets the home locker. its just how it has always been done. would it be fair for the top team in the reg season to get the home locker room? yes, but thats the way the CFL operates (not sure who gets home in the NFL superbowl?)
Just saying its not because its the Riders they get home team, its the same deal every year no matter the team.
the Riders getting a better hotel is unfair though, I agree with that. money talks i guess, and Riders winning = alot more money then another Allouettte Grey Cup

Yeah I assumed that was the case, but I don't agree with the logic. Especially considering there is the actual advantage of having full use of the facilities while Montreal gets nothing. If the division winner gets the home dressing room that's not a big deal, but if they're the only ones who get to use the facilities of the stadium (weight room, etc.) then there's a problem.
