It's a weak reason, but not nearly as weak as "I want my kid's wang to look like mine". Holy crap, narcissism dicktating health choices, there's some solid rationale. Should probably just go ahead and spray some Neet to match pa's chrome dome, and then feed him chocolate until his gut looks like dad's too.

If I had a son, he would be snipped.
Aside from the cleanliness and "just like me" arguments, my unscientific poll has woman preferring to go down on helmets. He can thank me when he is older.

That's the most convincing argument from your side in this whole thread.

I still don't fully get the cleanliness argument. Are we comparing the hogs of cut and uncut homeless dudes?

They are all helmeted - you see, the foreskin retracts.

When I was born, hairy chests, mustaches, long side burns, gold chains and tight polyester pants were all considered extremely sexy by the women of the world.
I'm glad my parents didn't have to make a life-long decision about my facial hair and fashion sense on the day I was born.
Ask any 50 year-old man with a mustache why he has one, and I bet the answer is that it's what the women (or men) like. Ask any 20 year-old who waxes his chest why he does it, and I bet the answer is that it's what the women (or men) like.
Personally, I wouldn't want to have to explain to my son that I had him cut because his mother preferred fellating men who were cut.

You think because of snipping you grow a helmet?

Most women can't even tell. You pull it back and it looks exactly the same. When they say that they think foreskin is gross, I'd be willing to bet that they've never even seen an uncircumcised erect penis that isn't retracted. Yet, even if they have, it's a moot point because you simply pull it back and there's your helmet. By removing the foreskin, the nerve endings at the head of the penis become less sensitive, making sex less enjoyable.

Also, I haven't read this entire thread so perhaps this has been brought up already, but there have been instances (although rare) where the circumcision has been botched, causing permanent damage to the child's penis, and in some cases where there penis was lost entirely. For a completely elective procedure that serves no purpose beyond aesthetics, why in god's name would you risk something like that? That has to be one of the most selfish things a parent could do.

I would think this means the circumcised guy will be able to last longer, thus, having more sex to enjoy for both woman and man.

Oh shut up.
Something that a huge number of males have undergone with no negative repercussions is the most selfish things a parent could do? Really? What the hell is in it for the parent? That they get to go around bragging that their boy is circumcised?
And why the hell are you bringing stuff up if you haven't read the entire thread? If you're too lazy to read the thread, and it's not like its an enormous random thoughts thread, then don't bother putting your two cents in until you have!
Parents SELFISH for CIRCUMCISING their sons? That's just plain ######ed.

Meh, you could always just not retract the foreskin. I call that marathon mode

I suppose I should rephrase that. If you are ignorant about circumcision and think that it is a necessary procedure, then that wouldn't be selfish. If, on the other hand, you have your son circumcised because you think it looks better or because you want him to look like dad, then yeah, that's extremely selfish.

I don't really feel like reading 11 pages of what is likely filled with ignorant posts made by you (if this post is any indication at least).

Well you can go back and read them now since I hadn't posted in this thread until your moronic hyperbole compelled me to.
