Ever hear a song and you read the lyrics because you can't believe that what you heard is right but even after reading the proper lyrics you are convinced that what you hear is what is actually sung by the artist? Disturbed has a song called A Welcome Burden and the one line is supposedly "And let the broken ones taste my misery" but no matter how many times I listen to that song I clearly hear him sing "And the Pokemon tastes my misery"
Have a listen for yourself, it is the 4th line after the intro.

In fact, there's a word for this phenomenon. It's called "mondegreen," and it means "the mishearing or misinterpretation of a phrase, typically a standardized phrase, such as a line in a poem or a lyric in a song." (There's a great website called kissthisguy.com that's named after the frequently misheard Hendrix song listed below and is dedicated to the cataloging of mondegreens.)
QUEEN: "Bohemian Rhapsody"
What people sing: "Scare a moose, scare a moose, will you do my fan Van Gogh?"
The actual lyric: "Scaramouche, scaramouche, will you do the fandango?"
JIMI HENDRIX: "Purple Haze"
What people sing: "Excuse me while I kiss this guy"
The actual lyric: "Excuse me while I kiss the sky"
BON JOVI: "Livin' on a Prayer"
What people sing: "It doesn't make a difference if we're naked or not"
The actual lyric: "It doesn't make a difference if we make it or not"
Location: Close enough to make a beer run during a TV timeout

A Winnipeg radio station used to have a contest call "lyric laugh." Basically you had to say the next line of the song, and if you were wrong you would get a laugh track; if you were right you won.
I was postitive that after "Gina dreams of running away", the next line was "She cries in the night time and whispers......"
Turns out the correct line is "She cries in the night, Tommy whispers......"

There's the other part of Blinded by the Light where he sings "With a boulder on my shoulder, feelin' kinda older" and it sounds like "With a boner on my shoulder"
