Brad Childress gets canned today... Who didn't see this coming?
If the Vikings were smart they would bench Favre and start taking a look at Jackson for next season. Unfortunately Golden Brett will laughably continue to lead the team, more than likely. How bad of a year do you have to have before you can sit 'NFL royalty'?

very nice.
Didn't the Broncos learn from the STAMPS that you can't rush only 3 guys in the red zone?

Well, it was a nice start. San Diego's defense woke up and Denver's seem to go to sleep.
That Crayton TD hurt. Should've been a negative play and ends up in the end zone.
I'm going to be 0-3 today.

Man I need Orton/Loyd to pick it up. I got them on my fantasy team which I'm down 28 points after Sunday's games.

SD is going to win that division and Rivers is going to be the MVP of the league IMO.

Why are the Chargers always so slow out of the gates?

Yeah its odd for sure.
This year some of it is explainable with the major hold-outs of big time starters and the plethora of injuries, but they do lag in September and into October.
Right now they are firing on all cylinders though and Rivers is just phenomenal. Gonna be tough to beat these guys moving forward as they are good on both sides of the ball and, for one game at least, look to have dealt with their not-so-special teams play.

Nice for the Chargers to humble my hopes on the Broncos having a chance to comeback to contend for the AFC West.

The Broncos have about 4 players on defense worth keeping.
Bailey, Williams, Dumervil and Ayers. The rest can go.

They were just going over teh Bolts remaining schedule and as I looked at it, i was thinking they would win at least 5 if not all 6 should they keep playing as they are.
the one big test is the Colts next week in Indy, but Indy is a mess with injuries and what not right now and are weakened on pass d all of a sudden which should allow Rivers another huge night. On top of that SD has the best pass D in the NFL...so that sets up well for them.
It looks to me that the division will come down to KC and how well they play out the season. If they can go 4-2 and beat the Bolts one more time its theirs going away, anything less and it will get touchy. I think the Raiders are toast...the QB'ing is horrendous....and its a QB driven league for the most part.

The guy is amazing. Some of the balls he has caught this year were just mind boggling.

With SDs schedule being so easy after this week-ends game I think they will take the division at 10-6.

I wonder why some guys like Lloyd take so long to figure out how to play in this league. I've been waiting for him to become a quality receiver for years now.
QB/WR chemistry is a part of it, I'm sure. Injuries have taken a toll, but it always seemed like the effort wasn't there.
