I don't understand why Fisher gets a pass. Yes VY is acting like an idiot, but has Fisher really proven over the past couple of years that he knows what's best for the team? Titans were 6-2 with VY last year and 2-6 with Collins, yet he stuck with Collins. Fisher doesn't want VY, never did and benched him whenever he could.

Bud Adams needs to make up his mind once and for all. The Titans will have to move on without either Young or Fisher as they can't coexist.

Young's side of the story. He's sick of Fisher not having faith in him and he also throws his equipment into the stands at the end of every game. Apparently Young felt he could start last week too. I think Fisher just looks for reasons not to play him.
Another team will give him a chance I guarantee it.

Vince Young is a mental midget, plain and simple.. He will never be more than a talented athlete playing QB, i couldnt imagine Manning Brees, Brady, Rivers et al throwing their equipment in the stands..

He throws his equipment in the stands every game to give the fans souvenirs. How is that a bad thing?

Makes you wonder seeing the Cowboys turn it around after waiting so long why both the Cowboys and Vikings didn't pull the trigger earlier when it was pretty apparent both Phillips and Childress were in over their heads. Frazier is pretty respected and looked at as HC material so it will be interesting to see how the team plays for a coach that they have respect for as opposed to one they despised.

The equipment tossing is being disputed. Adam Schefter says it was fabricated as Young gave his jersey to the owners daughter.

Regardless of that, Vince "wonderlic" Young is a guy who is lucky to have a career in the NFL, without that, i dont know if he is smart enough to hold on to any kind of job, he is another Jamarcus, but slightly better

Not a fan of Fisher at all but the 6-2 finish had a lot more to do with Johnson and the defense than it did with Young.
Collins is a much better QB than Young and it was the right move to have him play until the season was shot and then let Young come in and see if he could ever understand how to run an NFL offense. Unfortunately for Vince the answer remains no he can't.

I don't know if you watch the Titans that much, but VY makes Johnson a better running back. Johnson had more than half of his big runs last year on options with VY. They couldn't run that with Collins or with any other qb in the nfl as effectively than with VY other than Vick. The fact is Vince Young has a very good record as a starter. He also has a 103 passer rating this season. Fact of the matter is as soon as he screws up Fisher pulls him immediately. No other QB is on a shorter leash in this league save the tandem in Oakland.

ROY, 2x Pro Bowler, 6th best active winning percentage, #5 in passing rating this year, maybe best college player ever, How is he lucky?

Did not deserve the ROY or the Pro Bowls, wins meaningless games and wasn't even the best player of his era let alone of all time.
He is lucky because he is terrible at throwing the ball, easy to fool into making bad throws and only has one weapon his legs which is easy enough for defenses to defend.
He is the perfect QB if you want to win a few games and lose when playing good teams and in the play-offs. But for teams that want to actually be successful in the long term VY is a waste of a spot on your team.

I know that you are a USC fan so you have to hate him, but almost every list has VY in top 15 of college players of all time and no one else from his era close except a couple have Tim Tebow which I can't argue. Who in his era was better?

Which explains him being #5 in passing this year.

He has never been given a chance by Fisher. Once he or Fisher leaves the Titans he will become a better player.

Don't try reason with Moon, if statistics and facts don't fit his argument they are pointless. He is incapable of changing his opinion.

It's amazing that they were fired now meaning the teams have to really suck. Off the top of my head I can't think of any other coach that was fired before Phillips was in week 8. This would be like an NHL team firing it's coach after 30-40 games. It's very rare in the North American sports culture to get rid of coaches early.
Unlike soccer where managers get fired after about 5 games because everyone is paranoid about relegation.

No dog in the fight but I see Vince in the same category as Tim Tebow. Great top 5 NCAA qb's but not NFL Material. For some reason Texas fans hang their hats on Vince as A lot of Florida Fans hung their hat on Tims performance last week vs KC.
I think vince still has some maturing to do, maybe going to another team and getting a chance to learn behind someone for a year will do him so good. But as a non USC fan we can all laugh at Leinert!
