if you don't renew your seasons tickets, call the team up and tell them the reason why.
Speaking to the money is the way with Calgary sports.

I am done with the league, I started going the Stamps games when Hufnagel was the starting QB and was a season ticket holder for many years - even when I was a student and could barely afford it. The officiating was a joke, from the overturned fumble and the "taunting" call made in the last 5 minutes of a semi-final. I wrote a letter to the league that I will be mailing tomorrow (couldn't find an email address). Today I turned into Abe Simpson - thank you CFL

Neither team could do anything on offense - the difference was the Riders got 2 bullsh*t second chances from inside the 5 and the Stamps didn't.
Either that game was fixed or the incompetence of the CFL has a ridiculous effect on the games.

Yeah, I went to only three games this year because I've become so frustrated with the officiating, and I doubt I'll go to any next year after tonight. The most ridiculous one to me was the intentional grounding that was directly over the head of a receiver. Absolute BS. And there were at least two Sask time-count violations that went uncalled. And of course, the PIs.

I've crossed that point. When that fumble was overturned I knew %100 that this game was fixed. I'm done with the league.

That intentional grounding combined with Durant doing an almost identical play and not getting called was the turning point for me. Every brutal one-sided call after that wasn't a surprise.

I think the worst penalty was the illegal contact one on Browner for knocking down Weston Cross-Dressler. That little rat ball gets a penalty everytime the ball is thrown to him cause he's 5'6" and weighs like 100 pounds. He falls down on every single play and gets the call everytime.

Well at least it will be good to see the Riders lose the cup again next week. I hope it's in triple overtime on a missed call by the refs.

I said it about half way through the season. It is very difficult to take the CFL seriously when the refs have a major impact on almost every single game. Today, 15ish penalties called against the Stamps compared to 5 against the Riders, this comes a day after Fantuz was talking about the refs.

League agenda wasn't even covert today. It was made pretty clear on the first play of the game how it was going to be called (Lewis' objectionable conduct). From questionable calls, to non-calls to down right embarrassing calls.
Did the Stamps underachieve today? I would say so. Their normally dominant front 6 and running game were non-factors. However, all of those issues were compounded by the officiating.
I love the CFL game. I hate the CFL officiating.

I'm not gonna buy into this "fixed" conspiracy theory....but the reffing was bad.
It boggles my mind how they can call a taunting penalty in a playoff game. Something that has zero impact on the game, if it wasn't called its not like the other team is going to whine to the refs "theyre making fun of us!!" gimme a break.
A game is not won or lost on a single play, but negating a 36 yard gain when the team was on their heels....is just flat out ridiculous
You call taunting penalties when things are getting out of hand...give them a warning then move on, but to just toss the flag willy nilly....freaking ridiculous

I know you guys lost but to say the reffing had any impact on this game is insane. The reffing in the CFL is the only thing that I actually respect vs. the NFL where the refs are constantly making mistakes. The riders played better and diserved the W, plain and simple. Either way....Als would beat either of these two teams.

SAFETY. only in the CFl

Because Stamps No. 31 booted it into the endzone. Right call.

Guess you didnt even watch the game. There was 6 or 7 completely blown calls that helped determine the outcome of the game. There is no way Sask deserved to win that game. Its one thing to have the referee's decide a game with bad calls during the season but after this game I feel absolutely robbed, and the worst part about it is that the game was just as poorly called last season. You explain to me how I can justify buying seasons tickets if to only have your playoff game decided by reffing.

You can't be serious.
NFL refs are LEAGUES ahead of CFL refs. And the NFL actually has balls to hold refs accountable publically.
The reason the Stamps lost isn't placed on the refs for the most part. But the refs most defiantly played a role and made it much more difficult for the Stamps to succeed since they did seem to show a favour of bias.

LOL. Both leagues reffing isn't that great but who cares if the NFL publically becomes accountable? Does it make it better? Has it made it better? No. Refs in the NFL have been rigging games for decades, and they know they can get away with it by apologizing later on after the game is over and make it all better. Remember that Steelers 11-10 win of the Chargers?? They took back a fumble recovery from the Steelers with little time on the clock because that would mean the Steelers cover the spread and Vegas loses $60+ million...Stamps choked plain and simple. Awful playcalling and Burris once again doesn't show up.
